I think the triangular thing where the guests were eating is some kind of food chain, it have eyes in all levels, so it could represent that Eye abyss we see in the game 2 and how it take the faces of people through the TV's to get bigger, this also could explain why it have so many big eyes. Maybe this think is the "Hunger" itself... I don't know

The Teacher and the Thin Man was in Little Nightmares. They were both in the final DLC. The Teacher was in a portrate and they Tall Man was in the final scene on the staticing television
Can't help but imagine the developers adding the hanging man as nothing but a shock factor and now it's one of the biggest mysteries in the game
