- Join us as we head to The Milky Way Adventure Park in Devon to experience the 3 different roller coasters on offer at the park along with checking out all of the other rides and attractions. In this vlog we share on ride POV's from Cosmic Typhoon, Cosmic Caterpillar and the absolutely awesome Ziggy's Blast Quest. Since my previous visit in 2018, the ride has undergone a huge transformation making it an interactive roller coaster with various different special effects and new theming elements! Along with that we share highlights from the birds of prey show and much more!

"Is that Kylo Ren" - cracked me up!
I really have no Star Wars knowledge!
Smh 🤦♀️ ughh as 1000’s of Start Wars Fans yell at the screen.
The Building you can see from the roller coaster was built about a year ago, strange lights have been seen at night and life stock have gone missing in the surrounding area, there is a rumour that a mad Devonshire farmer has cross breed a seagull and a goat. or it could be a big new barn for a fencing company... I'm opting for the mad Farmer. Our pasties will never be safe again! ....... A big thanks for supporting our local Attraction you both did it proud!
Love this. Thank you for watching David!
Brings back so many childhood memories, I love the Milky Way.

One thing I do like especially about this park has to be the railway. For what it is, it's very nicely done with the views and the station!
Happy national roller coaster day!!!
Took my kids here a few years ago and it is a very odd place, but still it is a bit of a hidden gem and i would go back again.
It’s certainly worth a visit!
Shawn I love your videos too much and your silly humour you have with Charlotte. And I also really love watching your theme park March collection.KEEP ON RIDING COASTERS!
Thank you so much!
Happy National Roller Coaster day!
Happy national rollercoaster day!!!❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for the vlog!!
I 100% agree with Charlotte, the ood and the weeping angels were from when Doctor Who was good! and those angels were super scary, i had nightmares about them! Those and the clockwork figures are the only two monsters from the show that actually scared me haha.
What a great day for a vlog. I loved it by the way.
That Pasta Charolett was eating looked delicious.........
It was!
Ziggy’s Blast quest looks great!
It’s good fun!
I'd definitely over to visit this park. I love the syfy theme throughout the park and the cool museum too.
Nice to see you seeing so many parks and goats despite the state of the world right now.🐐🐐
We’ve really tried to make the most of it and support these parks!
Happy roller coaster day Shawn!
We loved the man with the birds. 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
He is great at what he does!
Yes hem weeping angels terrified me too. Horrible things lol x
That maze was a-maze-ing!
Definitely!
This is all my child hood thank you for coming to Southwest
Thanks for watching
Milky Way, the theme park you can enjoy between other parks without ruining your hunger for more parks 😀😀
Great video. Thanks for posting this. Have a nice day.
We went to Milky Way yesterday. Very happily surprised especially with Ziggys blast quest and we loved the birds of prey show. It’s not a full on themepark as you say but it’s brilliant for what it is. Everyone should go check it out
As usual 😜, A great video you two really make it fun to watch along with all the information that you give and your personal views on the rides and attractions, good job well done, keep safe
Thank you very much
awesome vlog
Ive never even heard of this park! Thanks for sharing 👍👍👍 we always go to Dairyland when we re in Cornwall - its not a theme park but has lots of farm animals and birds, trampolines etc and always has a lovely atmosphere 🐄🐄🐄
Great fun 😊
That’s so cool that there was only 200 people in the park very good vlog as always hope you had a great 👍 day
It was good fun!
Other than Clone Zone, there weren't really any rides here when I used to go. Lots of great memories though.
Great vlog.
I loved this park when i was a child
Brilliant been here twice.
Did the magic show and the fella from BGT was there also.
22:40 I love the way Shawn said the markers are nice and clear and pointed at 2 arrows pointing in opposite directions in the same line 🤣
It’s to direct people into the different areas I believe
@@ThemeParkWorldwide i thought so, it was bad timing and made me laugh 😁. Thanks for all your great content Shawn.
I love Goats too.........
Happy National Rollercoaster Day! I hope you had an amazing day celebrating this important day with Charlotte!
great vid cosmic typhoon looks like the wildcat that used to be at pleasureland southport
What a great little park. That dark ride wouldn't look out of place at a much bigger park
Definitely
Great park.
That ziggys quest looks awesome, I agree with you we definitely need more indoor options here in the UK, then maybe alot more parks could open all year round and not just seasonally
Definitely!
We need something like this in Manchester
I dont know why everyone insists on calling Ziggys a roller coaster. Its always been borderline a dark ride and i never counted it as a credit. Now they have added the shooting element, for me, that seals its fate as a dark ride
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Good vlog.
Another great Vlog as always Shawn and Happy National Rollercoaster Day 🎢👍🏻
Thanks!
Theme Park Worldwide you’re welcome
There used to be a pirate themed ride at Thorpe park, located on an island behind the top hat of Stealth. You went out to the island by train, and saw loads of actors doing swash buckling stuff. This is where the train comes from. The system was totally different/separate to the former Thorpe park railway in Canada creek.
It is indeed!
Been there before good park all round
I have never been before too old reply love you Shawn best vloger EVERRRRRRRrRR
Thank you!
First, love the vlogs
Coasters 4 Life does it matter if she was first or not. Sorry but many people say there first when there not but if it makes them happy it makes them happy
22:50 I didn’t want to get in the way of the vlog lmao
You two makes a good couple I love watching you
Thank you Jenny
Hi Shawn I visited Brean theme park and conquered Wild Water for the first time. I also went on a Ferris wheel that they have there at the moment because the Sooty show is not on and the Studio is not there because of COVID 19. I have also just received My Theme Park Worldwide T shirt from Teespring also Many thanks to Charlotte for replying to my mums message.
Thank you for your support, we really appreciate it!
I'm watching from lightwater valley
😂 I’m going here today lol
They put so much effort in that and you☺️☺️☺️
Also what is the age for theDodgems because I’m nine I want to know if I can go on the fast one
Or what height
Thank you! I’m not too sure on that sadly!
Did anybody else notice that the zebra watching the train was using a zebra crossing? That's why it's called a zebra crossing!
Great video shawn and Charlotte
Thanks!
@@ThemeParkWorldwide think ive watched your flambards video about 10 times now. Havent been to that park for 7 years
Late with some info again, but Charlotte mentioned a place in Cornwall called 'World In Minature' in a previous vlog from this trip.
World In Minuature once had a Bat Flyer coaster too! It was fully outdoors from memory, and was much more intense looking than the one here! I visited the park many times as a local, but sadly it was almost always closed due to 'technical issues'. It closed around the time the park rebranded as 'Minature Park' which itself sadly closed permanently years later. I belive the land is now houses. Although I do belive the dinosaurs from that park are indeed the ones that ended up at Flambards!
Hope this is of interest, and as a Cornishman, It's nice to see some of these parks given the attention online they deserve!
Thanks for the information!
Great vid. We went once a few years back. I we didn't really like the park. The only bit I liked was the starwars collection area. stay safe the both of you. ✌👍🙂👌
Yey ! Xxx
It was wired to not have loads of coasters because Thorpe park is my home park but there was so much to do it’s a shame the Niga thing was closed my brothers and I thought it looked really fun.
Thanks for watching!
good video
There's a doctor who museum in Cardiff bay
Good morning Sean and Charlotte!
@@danielledewitt1 I am in California it is morning here.
26:02 I honestly miss the Doctor who experience in Cardiff. Hardly any exciting attractions now that’s a goner. Unless you have recommendations.
I absolutely think you should CONTINUE singing during your vlogs :-)
Thank you, I will do!
I went here onc when I was on Holiday
24:18 hang on... They’re playing Heart Skips a Beat by Olly Murs. A fan by any chance Shawn?
Peewee and Morph Tollon because it is. Why do you think I have Murs in my username?
Definitely!
Yasss I’m early!
There is another theme park in Devon called Woodlands near Dartmouth you should visit
We’ll have to!
My birthday today Shawn and Charlotte xxx
at the End Charlotte looks like "Can we please get out of this park and go see the goats!"
Definitely!
The ride at the start looks cool
Meanwhile, me and my friend did our French Coaster Mega trip, and this time, as Im telling you about day 3 of our trip we did two parks. We first stopped at Cobac Parc and then traveled on to la Récré des 3 Curés. This second park has been on our wishlist for a long time, because of the many old Bobbejaanland attractions that the park has, but also because of the brand new roller coaster Vertika.
-Cobac Parc:
When we walked into Cobac Parc, I knew in advance that this park could be called rather modest, but is located in a very green environment. The park offers many attractions that are mainly intended for the younger public, but also a water park, which can be very welcome in this region on warm days. For us, the main goal was the Corsaire roller coaster.
Corsaire is a roller coaster built by the French manufacturer Soquet, the track offers a smooth ride, which was quite enjoyable. Of course we didn't stop at a ride, but did a few extra laps.
We spent the rest of the time walking through the park, where several attractions can be found among the forests.
Cobac Parc was not an unpleasant park, which is a nice day trip for parents with children, but had just a little too little to offer for our category.
-la Récré des 3 Curés:
Arrived at our second park of the day in the afternoon. la Récré des 3 Curés was known to entusiates as Bobbejaanland 2, because this park brought in several oldies from the Kempen amusement park. We were therefore very curious and especially happy that we could put it on again.
When we walked through the beautiful entrance, along a beautiful carousel, we already noticed that the atmosphere and appearance of this park could not match the real Bobbejaanland, but that would not spoil our fun.
We decided to take the Soquet roller coaster Grand Huit as the first attraction. This family roller coaster was not a real high flyer, but still was an entertaining and smooth family roller coaster.
Not much later we arrived at ex Bobbejaanland attraction number one of the day: Mambo. This fast merry-go-round of Mack Rides was removed from the Belgian park for the construction of the Spinning Coaster Naga Bay, then called DIZZ. I liked the ride very much, and also a fun fact was that the stickers with warnings in Dutch and French were still present on the gondolas.
As we hiked to our next attraction, we paused at the park show. Here we noticed how disciplined people kept their distance, something that made me very happy. Mouth masks were also mandatory in the attractions, which gave us a safe feeling about the COVID-19 virus.
A show took place on what must be the most beautifully decorated area of the park, behind the grandstand a large ship was built, in which we found our next attraction, a Polyp. This offered a very nice ride, which could have taken a little longer for us.
Then it was time for the big novelty of the year in this park: Vertika. It is as if the park is really going to see what they can build at Bobbejaanland, because just like in Lichtaart, this park chose a Eurofighter from Gerstlauer as the new roller coaster, as Bobbejaanland did with Typhoon.
In my opinion, Vertika was a nice Euro Fighter. The vertical chain lift went very smoothly so we were lifted up quickly, which is a plus for me, because I don't like it when it is slow. The rest of the ride was short but sweet, from the moment you enter the vertical drop, you fly through the loop and the rest of the course. Our final verdict was that the park opened a very nice roller coaster.
I also liked my ride on Fly Away, who got the name Spoontus here. Fly Away was removed in Bobbejaanland for the construction of The Forbidden Caves. Spoontus is a type of attraction that turned out to be too intense for many, proof of this was the puddles of water under the attraction that indicated cleaning up vomit.
Another classic from Bobbejaanland was our next attraction Niagara, which probably rings a bell when we tell you that it used to be called Bobby Drop. This water ride takes you in a rubber boat on a conveyor belt, before sliding down a winding slide, ending with a splash. A fun stuffing attraction. Funny fact here was that the typical Bobbejaanland B still adorned the operator's booth.
We also decided to take a seat in the Ferris wheel of the wheel. From here you can see how green the park is, but we especially discovered the new attraction that may open next year. Behind a shed we saw the gondolas and the operator's cabin of the Viking would never guess… Bobbejaanland. It is also not inconceivable that the Dino attraction is also hidden here. These two attractions disappeared from Belgium during the construction of the new themed area Land Of Legends, the old location now houses the water playground Nayad Waters.
We ended our day with a few extra rides on Vertika and Grand Huit and a ride on the toboggan run, Le Bobs.
Overall this is a nice park that I thonk deserves more love and attention.
Really long comment
Thanks for sharing
went alton towers yesterday i was able to go on nemisis but cant go on any of the others but still nemisis she is a beast
is The Milky Way Adventure Park is open in May to October.
I went there on the 17th of august
my dad live in devon that’s a good park
👍
How coaster-like is Ziggy's? It looks a bit like a Buzz Lightyear Astro-blaster type of a ride, but is it faster/more up and down than that? For comparisons I'm thinking something like The Rat (which I think became something else before closing entirely at Lightwater Valley) or Space Mountain?
It’s definitely faster and has more powered lifts drops!
I love theme parks and I can't go to them during this time so you help me a lot to imagine that I'm there!!
Should stick a Gerst Infinity on the maze site
Nah a zamperla volare.
jk
Peewee and Morph Tollon That would be fitting actually. Theme it to space flight.
@@JoshB333 if they weren't horrible rides it would be.
I highly doubt Milkyway gets an average of 2,000 guests a day, it probably doesn’t even get 200 guests a day !! When I went last year no joke there must have been less then 100 people there and all the rides were walk on ! Went to Big Sheep after and that was a lot busier
I was also surprised when the member of staff told us this, however I have seen pictures of busy crowds here previously
I think theme park worldwide should do live streams of parks as well as vids
We’ll definitely be filming more live videos in the future
Shawn when you go to Devon next time you should go to Watermouth Castle and Combe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur Park both on the same road. Watermouth Castle is a great Museum and it’s got many old attractions from other theme parks.
Thanks for your suggestion
I kinda hope I see him one day, I will make sure to have a chat with him
Of course, feel free to stop and say hello!
my brother loves starwars and can basically explain all the fiilms
Do you visit theme parks everyday?? Or is it only for your cross-country trip?
I visit theme parks most days, but not every day!
Shawn showing a close up of Jar Jar
Star Wars fans: so you have chosen death
HAPPY NATIONAL ROLLERCOASTER DAY
Try using a 360 camera some time that would be epic.
Whilst you were on Ziggy's I was expecting to hear "you got a bonus" !!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
Now that would of made it!
There is a theme park named after a chocolate bar
Jin Marjin there is a chocolate bar named after a galaxy... 🤣
OMG lol 😂 it’s named after our Solar System not the chocolate bar lol
It’s named after the Solar System!
what did they do to the clone zone :(
It was rethemed
Hi Shaun are you and Charlotte going to Florida this year.
We won’t be travelling to the USA anytime soon due to Covid unfortunately
The bumper car riders there are a lot more polite than in America.
Hi Shawn, will you be doing a blog from woodlands? Thanks
We hope to visit next year!
Looking forward to it. Great little park, toboggan run and water slides are highlights.
Isn't Ziggy basically Mike Wazaowski's cousin?
"Jaba"
I forgot about this place! Remembered going there when I was a child but I forgot what it was called and really wanted to go again! Thanks!
Same here!
