Ratas ability to identify these old monsters names are impressive. Some of the artists really dig deep in these references and recurring storylines. Artist credit is like the biggest thing I wish Yu-Gi-Oh had.

Came back here to comment that Rata did it again and Konami released a king of the beasts retrain that's basically him with the intent of getting back everybody who ever wronged him.
Beast king is only a king because he married Beast king Alpha. That's why he's ratting the rodents out to Alpha, because he's actually kinda weak and honestly Alpha kinda married him out of pity. It's not a loveless marriage but you get the feeling they'd be happier as just friends. If Beast King wasn't so desperate to keep that "king" title, and Alpha wasn't so insecure about his own masculinity, they'd have had a heart to heart and divorced already, and both be happier for it. But no, Beast King NEEDS his authority, and Alpha NEEDS to feel needed, so this situation keeps playing out over and over again. It's hamster's first time seeing this, but safety rabbit's been through this rodeo before.

Behemoth attacks Des Kangaroo, who cross counters him, Rescue Rabbit gets a lucky punch in, and then Super Nimble Mega Hamster and the boar of Rush Recklessly nut shot him. Behemoth tells on them to Alpha, who wonders what in the name of the lord he is talking about. Years later, with his front teeth growing back, he tries to push around some other animals, who now know that his PTSD is his weakness. So yeah, I think he was the aggressor. He deserves his pain.

Behemoth senses them, and begins the attack on Manticore, who gives him a Threatening Roar. Afterwords, Des Kangaroo, Hamster and Rescue Rabbit just beat the crap outta him. Then Alpha hears what's going on and is confused as to how Hamster and Rabbit beat him. In his shame, he tries to bully Duck Decoy, which leads to the duck pulling our Rescue Rabbit, forcing Behemoth to run in terror
People need to see what the "Master and Expert" 3D model looks like in Duelist of the roses. I'm not goona say what's wrong with it, just go see it for yourself.
If you look closely at lucky punch you can actually see the pieces of his teeth flying, so maybe the one who actually broke them was rescue rabbit and he was already like that by the time Des Kangaroo punches him? It could also be the reason why he's so scared of rescue rabbit later on, because it was the one who made his life go downhill.
Alpha looks like he's about to give King a serious dressing down. "I gave you one fucking job, be King of the Beasts, and you get your arse handed to you by Rhino from Bolt!"

I know they were joking around but, wasn't Behemoth just a reference to Final Fantasy's Behemoth? Which is in the Monster Hunter games. Which means that it's name in Monster Hunter would be "Behemoth"
Super nimble mega hamster doing an anime super speed shadow clone anime run into a DBZ spin shattering body blow is just pure gold. The art I never knew I needed to see
Master of Oz was always decent for a quick and powerful fusion. It also would allow dumping a big koala from hand which comboed well with call of the haunted, premature burial or monster reborn. You got two massive vanilla beatsticks with only a few cards and nearly nothing on field required. That fusion was basically the only thing giving beasts any kind of hint at potbetial for a long time in the early game. You would get some decent randos without much beast synergy like cats ear tribe, bazoo the soul eater and rescue rabbit..whatever his name is tiger wengu was good but not really for a beast deck. Most beasts seemed to focus in being weak but swarming in ways that didnt lead into much in a beast deck like with hyena, giant rat and nimble mamonga. Great cards if they had some payoff but couldnt really search into much of worth and had limited options for tribute fodder. Great..you have a few weak little fluffs on the field now to summon..big koala? Better ways to get him out..Behamoth? Why..? I think that was the joke with him being arrogant but getting his ass kicked in card art..this legendary, biglical creature who honestly just sucked even at the time he came out. It seemed they wanted to dip their toes in again during GX with a few of the Des and other australian themed monsters but didn't have viability like Master of Oz or any real synergy with each other..then they apparently pulled out and left things unfinished for a while. The best beast cards in GX again were just part of archtypes that werent meant to be beast focued or fit into beast decks like the ojama and crystal beasts. 5Ds era again seemed to want to dable with some rando beast stuff. You had the uni/bi/tricorn synchros and a bunch of generic synchro/banishment realted beast stuff that didnt seem to work well together or have an endgame strategy. The banishment/synchro beasts also seemed to cross over a bit with another wierd thing they did at the time by having support that would combine beasts, beasts warriors and winged beasts. You had some of the spell/trap support you showerd here and Enraged battle ox buy it just didnt amount to much. At this time, winged beasts had much better archtypes and decks on their own and while beast warriors would get their resurgence, they were not great either way..the lock cat/chain dog and key mouse group were ok for some synchroing but way too slow. They had some mokeh stuff..but nothing worthwhile in the end..finally they came out with Koalo Koala or whatever it is called which seems to have finished what they started in GX. It made the tree otter and sea Koala much more viable and fits the theme of a powerful fusion that could easily turn tides out of nowhere and helped put big beatstick bricks from your hand into the grave for special summing later. It got to clear out some of the less usful things that were easily special summoned from the grave and helped clear uour field at the same time while having a good attack stat all things considered. It isnt nessisary but some of the swarming beasts from earlier also could pay pay off finally by stalling for an actual payoff and thinking the deck for a quicker fusion blitz. They also added some more with the nimble monsters again, allowing you to shift from searcher into searcher and adding little bonuses like chiping your opponets lifepoints away. Is it greta though? No. Decent on duel links but still a bit too slow and inconsisant at times, even on there. Penguins and armed Samuria Ben Kai have more success on there than i can squeeze out of the beasts most times. The two fusions are great but require seperate specific monsters of their own. If they had some bridge fusions or generic material fusions it would help immensly. Perhaps one that just requires a certian number of any beast type or a fusion for sea koala and big koala. Anything to help ensure you dont have to wait for one stupid material to be drawn since summon searching is decent but to hand searching suuuuuucks or the deck and anything summonable through search effects are vulnerable on field. Also, giving us more ways to dump big koala from hand for a big fusion payoff would be amazing. He was fine enough to stick around in hand for the strategy back in the day but now a brick even for a couple turns is dangerous, even in duel links. Beats have just always seemingly gotten the raw deal. Its weird and sad. They always had a couple splashable cards and viable staples but nothing for a full deck potential that was competative. Even as far as gimik or troll decks are concerned, they always seemed light. The saddest part is probably that they ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING WITH BEASTS WARRIORS! That typing had even less by far but we got a bunch of decent stuff out of them eventually in Brotherhood of the fire fist, lunalight and some others. They COULD do the same with beasts but konami just wants to keep them present but irrelavant.
I choose to believe that with it's sharp teeth, crumpled face and leaking orifices, Behemoth is ether how Ojama Black views himself or is Blacks fursona and all the cards are what is happening in the mind of Black. That's also why Behemoth is being constantly beaten up; becasue that's how an Ojama understands interaction with any other living creature.

I think Ojama Yellow slamming into Harpy Queen is the reason why harpies hunt them.
Master of Oz was always decent for a quick and powerful fusion. It also would allow dumping a big koala from hand which comboed well with call of the haunted, premature burial or monster reborn. You got two massive vanilla beatsticks with only a few cards and nearly nothing on field required. That fusion was basically the only thing giving beasts any kind of hint at potbetial for a long time in the early game. You would get some decent randos without much beast synergy like cats ear tribe, bazoo the soul eater and rescue rabbit..whatever his name is tiger wengu was good but not really for a beast deck. Most beasts seemed to focus in being weak but swarming in ways that didnt lead into much in a beast deck like with hyena, giant rat and nimble mamonga. Great cards if they had some payoff but couldnt really search into much of worth and had limited options for tribute fodder. Great..you have a few weak little fluffs on the field now to summon..big koala? Better ways to get him out..Behamoth? Why..? I think that was the joke with him being arrogant but getting his ass kicked in card art..this legendary, biglical creature who honestly just sucked even at the time he came out. It seemed they wanted to dip their toes in again during GX with a few of the Des and other australian themed monsters but didn't have viability like Master of Oz or any real synergy with each other..then they apparently pulled out and left things unfinished for a while. The best beast cards in GX again were just part of archtypes that werent meant to be beast focued or fit into beast decks like the ojama and crystal beasts. 5Ds era again seemed to want to dable with some rando beast stuff. You had the uni/bi/tricorn synchros and a bunch of generic synchro/banishment realted beast stuff that didnt seem to work well together or have an endgame strategy. The banishment/synchro beasts also seemed to cross over a bit with another wierd thing they did at the time by having support that would combine beasts, beasts warriors and winged beasts. You had some of the spell/trap support you showerd here and Enraged battle ox buy it just didnt amount to much. At this time, winged beasts had much better archtypes and decks on their own and while beast warriors would get their resurgence, they were not great either way..the lock cat/chain dog and key mouse group were ok for some synchroing but way too slow. They had some mokeh stuff..but nothing worthwhile in the end..finally they came out with Koalo Koala or whatever it is called which seems to have finished what they started in GX. It made the tree otter and sea Koala much more viable and fits the theme of a powerful fusion that could easily turn tides out of nowhere and helped put big beatstick bricks from your hand into the grave for special summing later. It got to clear out some of the less usful things that were easily special summoned from the grave and helped clear uour field at the same time while having a good attack stat all things considered. It isnt nessisary but some of the swarming beasts from earlier also could pay pay off finally by stalling for an actual payoff and thinking the deck for a quicker fusion blitz. They also added some more with the nimble monsters again, allowing you to shift from searcher into searcher and adding little bonuses like chiping your opponets lifepoints away. Is it greta though? No. Decent on duel links but still a bit too slow and inconsisant at times, even on there. Penguins and armed Samuria Ben Kai have more success on there than i can squeeze out of the beasts most times. The two fusions are great but require seperate specific monsters of their own. If they had some bridge fusions or generic material fusions it would help immensly. Perhaps one that just requires a certian number of any beast type or a fusion for sea koala and big koala. Anything to help ensure you dont have to wait for one stupid material to be drawn since summon searching is decent but to hand searching suuuuuucks or the deck and anything summonable through search effects are vulnerable on field. Also, giving us more ways to dump big koala from hand for a big fusion payoff would be amazing. He was fine enough to stick around in hand for the strategy back in the day but now a brick even for a couple turns is dangerous, even in duel links. Beats have just always seemingly gotten the raw deal. Its weird and sad. They always had a couple splashable cards and viable staples but nothing for a full deck potential that was competative. Even as far as gimik or troll decks are concerned, they always seemed light. The saddest part is probably that they ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING WITH BEASTS WARRIORS! That typing had even less by far but we got a bunch of decent stuff out of them eventually in Brotherhood of the fire fist, lunalight and some others. They COULD do the same with beasts but konami just wants to keep them present but irrelavant.

I choose to believe that with it's sharp teeth, crumpled face and leaking orifices, Behemoth is ether how Ojama Black views himself or is Blacks fursona and all the cards are what is happening in the mind of Black. That's also why Behemoth is being constantly beaten up; becasue that's how an Ojama understands interaction with any other living creature.
