    Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I get all discombobulated trying to get the beads to sit straight!!!!! Being able to watch you close up finally made sense. I kept turning my needle the wrong way 😂. God bless you!! 😘

    Hello! On the husband's advise I went to Harbor Freight and purchased a pair of Spring Wire Cutters. He says that memory wire is a spring wire...like what springs are made out of! Makes sense to me!!! Thank you for the tutorial!!! Blessings ans Re Jouir -Darlene

      I love harbor freight, I buy my flush cutters there too, they're phenomenal. I also buy their plastic storage boxes, with the 24 teeny tiny boxes inside. Perfect for findings and small amounts of beads. Lol, HF has pretty much provided 99% of my storage solutions for my bead studio!

    This is such a fun pattern! I was skeptical about the memory wire, my ears are picky about what metals go through them, but it works. Thank you for the tutorial!

    Kelly I really enjoy your tutorials and was hoping you might do a cubic right angle weave earring with pearls and bicones sometime. Something that I thought beaders might enjoy. Thanks again for all you do. Jana Jahn

    Beautiful! How do you keep the beaded portion from twisting around on the hoop? I can fix them but I don’t want other people to have to do that.
    Thank you!

    So... I started an earring with brick stitch similar to this how would you go
    About adding more thread to this project? Unfortunately my Nymo kept knotting the second row of brick stitch ... and because I’m sick a perfectionist I’ve started the project 3 times and every time I’ve knotting my thread ... I’ve waxed the thread before front and everything else to try to prevent knotting..

    • @offthebeadedpath
      @offthebeadedpath  5 років тому

      I wouldn't suggest adding thread to a project such as this. The more you have to stitch through the beads to get rid of old thread and add new thread, the more you will be filling up your bead holes and that will jack up the chances of busting beads A lot of what causes knots is twists in the thread that aren't let out. If you find yourself getting knots, every so often while you stitch, Let go of the beadwork, hold the needle up making sure the beadwork is off the mat. From the needle, run your fingers down the thread. This will take out any twists in the thread that have built up

      offthebeadedpath thanks so much I was kinda figuring that was the answer... sometime I get ansy and in a hurry with a 2 yr old running around while I’m doing a project! Thanks so much ❤️

    Do you need to somehow smooth the end of the earring that goes through the ear? Is it sharp, or not? Thanks! Love your videos!!

    Thanks for these cute earrings, Kelly! Would it still work with round 11/0 Miyukis? I don't have any Delicas but I have a lot of 11/0s 😂

  • @kelcatdog

    How sharp is the end of the memory wire that you put through your ear do you need do you need to smooth the end or file in any shape formed so if you have no sharp ends

    • @offthebeadedpath
      @offthebeadedpath  5 років тому

      If you use memory wire cutters the end is blunt and is not sharp. You can smooth them but I've found no need to.

    How do they hold in your ear? Does the straight piece just hold it?

    • @offthebeadedpath
      @offthebeadedpath  5 років тому

      No, as I state in the video you will want to put a clear ear nut or regular ear nut on the earwire to hold the earring in your ear.
