Love a live stream guys, great cars, had a 53 and a 58 many moons ago. One had a 2 litre pinto racing engine, the other a 2.5 v8 Daimler engine, out of the old Daimler Dart police cars! Great to see another Sit up and Beg coming back to life.
that's a cool looking little car. like a small coup. and i like the flip up hood. ive worked on a few of them V6 engines they are fun. going to try and catch the live stream.
Looking forward to seeing v6 up and running.. Sometimes they do the rotor arm in.. So take new rota arm to get them up and running straight away. But good luck with the start up. Fingers crossed for you guys. John from Ireland
Love the Intro guy's the roll backs with Kate just set her off. Looks really good motor the Ford pop. Yeah mate I will be there Mano good to see Kate getting some attention buddy.🤟👍
The engine may turn over freely but when/if it fires up from cold don't hoof it like with Kate, rev it up gently. The timing gears (no chain or belt) are made of nylon and one fault of the V6 (Essex and Cologne) was stripped timing gears.
I hope the 'Pop' doesn't infect everything around it with RUST, boy does that need help. If it starts it will just leave a pile of rust dust on the floor. Isn't it ironic Mothers day is 9 months after Fathers day :)
Thanks, we'd like to take it to Santa pod or york, once it's roadworthy.. DO you know of any suitable events go ahead this spring/Summer? We'd love to know a bit more about the car btw.. :) Thanks, Emmanuel
@@Classiccarbscouk check out Melbourne Raceway (formerly York) and Santa pod Raceway on Facebook. Lots of info / dates there. If you want to find out more about the car, put a post up in "Hot Rod Gazette" (HRG), again on Facebook. Hope this helps.
Why don't you just see if it fires up with out doing anything to it. Just a battery . Now that would be amazing if it starts. Fridays okay with me about 7pm would be okay
Nice to see the fabrication progress on Kate, video updates on the shell welding is always good.
That's the engine Kate wanted in her 😎👍. Love the noise of the ole v6

Nice its a real 1970,s time warp machine, so period correct for the era it was built in, will take about 10 mins to get that running!
Has not run for at least 10 years, but looks complete and it does turn over by hand... let's see
Will do. My headlight should be here tomorrow I'm hoping
Not sure if the courier has picked it up yet, but should be with you this week.
