Looks great! I have never seen anyone tile their carport. I am in the USA and have not seen that done here. Definitely a multi purpose space along with your storage room. I can see you entertaining on your carport no matter what the outdoor elements are. Nice indeed!! 🙂
Tiling is expected, but the choice of tiles is varied. Many people use a smooth (indoor) tile. Regular tiles aren't as thick as paving tiles. More durable and non-slip.
Very beautiful house. I have just discovered your channel yesterday (through one video from Bryan's Thailand). Your builder has done an awesome job in a reasonable timeframe and you were very fortunate to find this local company in Thailand. I am presently living in New Caledonia (French Island in South Pacific) and planning to move in Thailand for retirement in around 2 years (my wife's family is from Korat City). We need first to find a land (one or two rais) not far from Korat City and build our dream house. If you do not mind, when I am in Korat next year, would it be possible to contact you in order to know the name of your builder ? Thanks in advance.
Sorry but I just saw your comment. Yes please do come and visit when you are in Thailand. We are in a small village 20kms from the center of Khorat. I believe there is even some land for sale close by.
@@livingin2worlds137Thank you very much for your answer and your invitation. I will surely contact you during the month of January next year if you are in Thailand and in Khorat during that period.
Looking good. Hopefully not too stressful mate.🍻🍻👍👍
I really enjoy building in Thailand. We have a really good builder and no red tape to deal with.

Tiling on the carport is somewhat common here. It helps keep things clean and it is much cheaper to do than in the US

Looking good. That's turned out to be a great carport / entertainment area. We have enjoyed watching your build.
Glad you enjoyed it
It's all looking very nice!
Thanks!
That floor looks too fancy for a car garage... But great for an outdoor party place. Can't wait to see the puzzles move in to the puzzle room!!!
I am not sure yet. No time for puzzles but larger ones for sure.
Looks great Russell, you're running out of projects mate haha!
I am sure I can find more.
Looks awesome Russell, I like the tiles you chose..............................roughly what are the dimensions of the carport ?
The parking area is 7 1/2 x 7 1/2 M and the storage room is 3 1/2 x 7 1/2 M
Hi I love the style of house you have built, I want to build something similar, if you mind me asking how much roughly for just house build total.
The house as we build it last year at just over 3M baht
