The lotion story was hilarious 😅
Solid work, keep it rollin bros!
Exactly the video I was looking for and look who it is 😍 I’m gana pass on the Steelit thanks bro
No problem 👍 Just be advised that if it’s out in the sun a lot it will fade because it’s epoxy.
Can’t wait to see it done!!
Holy shit, it’s happening…3 in one week…Taco Dust is back baby!
Appreciate the support!
How did you prep the slider before applying the steelit?
I did my e350 quigley.. vht .. never had a problem. Tried por this that. Bla bla.. vht is good for the buck value
Maybe a clear coat over the steel it so it won't fade in the sun?
What brand spring compressor are you guys using at 7:30?
How's it holding up?
Ever try VHT epoxy spray????
Not yet!
@@tacodust. this paint you used is epoxy. LOVE it, but it does fade also.
The Epoxy Spray and Roll Bar paint are the exact same thing. I used both in Satin extensively. Called VHT and the tech said it was the same thing.
Yea, polyurethane doesn't degrade like that. BOWLING BALLS are polyurethane.
VHT Roll Bar and Chassis paint is The most unsafe cans of paint I have ever had. One nozzle broke completely off during the very first spray. I found the nozzle and a spring during cleanup of the floor. It took $25 dollars worth of Acetone.
The second can worked OK for about half the can, and then, with no fingers on the nozzle, it started spontaneously spraying out of the side of the nozzle. It got in my eye directly, and cost $20 worth of all the eye drops I had, after a water flush with the cold well water. + untold medical bills to come. Not to mention cleaning my prescription glasses lens off with Acetone destroyed the coatings...l. but I had no choice
This cost me a lot of money, and a lot of suffering already and yet to come, as solvent in eyeballs generally doesn't go well
I've probably used 400 cans of spray paint in my day, and this is the first time anything like this has happened....and it happened twice on the same day from VHT only
I think you are haunted . Cool story
So you’re comparing a FRESH coating to one that was applied previously?
No shit the fresh coating is going to look better. How it holds up is another story!
The truth is, both products are not a decent option for that application. No 1k spray paint is going to hold up well.
Neither are UV stable. In my experience, steel it turns chalky very fast regardless of UV exposure. The VHT has been great and still looks like the day it was applied over a year ago. I don't get these results even after a month with Steel it.
@@tacodust. I’ve never had good luck with VHT or any other rattle can paint.
I either use 2k or Cerakote.
