Our TOP 7 campsites in Europe

- We've been on numerous campervan road trips around mainland Europe, mainly based around the Alps. This campsite review video will show you some of our favourites in Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Austria and Belgium.
Not all of them have lakeside locations and mountain views, some of them have their own unique offering as to why you must stay there.
There's a mixture of history, architecture, watersports, mountains and lots of activities for all the family.
We have many more recommendations but these 7 sites should get you started for the perfect trip!
Let us know if there are any sites you think we should include in our future trips.

Hi, A bit of info, the campsite at Tasch is closing down within 2 years for railway improvements. Dunno how you’d do Zermatt without it. Second, if your a cheapskate you can stay in the campsite opposite Manor Farm with an ACSI card for less than half price and just walk over for sunsets. Oh, and because of some some Netflix Korean Drama the Interlaken area is now swamped with Selfie taking people from South Asia. Manic. 😢😢😢. Great vids as always
Oh WOW! That’s a shame about Tasch!!
Is that a temporary measure or will it close permanently?
Good info on the manor farm alternative but I’d personally pay extra to stay at the water’s edge, it’s so soothing 😍
I’ll pin your comment so others can see the info on Tasch 👍🏼
Some great sites there, but the one to see the last post is way up the top of ones for us to visit for sure 👍👍
100%!!
It’s close enough to Calais and in our opinion, it’s a must see!
It offers so much more than beautiful views, it’s a life experience that we feel others should experience 👌🏼
Loved this trip to the best campsites. Thanks for taking us back there Profs.
Thanks you two 😍
Looks fabulous so far, looking forward to exploring tomorrow. Then we’re off to another recommendation Jungfraujoch camping in a few days. We love your videos and totally agree it’s dinner at midday 😂👍🏻
😄😄 of course it’s dinner! 👍🏼
Enjoy that amazing trip of yours 🤩
Thanks for the recommendations, I've saved them all for the 'next time' I go to Europe.. and what a beauty of a steak 🥩 that was!! 👌
😄😄 steak is always star of the show!
You won’t go wrong with either of these locations Mark, they’re all superb!! 👌🏼
As usual just brilliant right down to earth , no aires and graces , my kind of people !!!
Thanks guys 😊👍🏻
😁 thanks Dave!!
We went to Ypres off the back of your video and I have to agree. Seriously special place. The last post is spine tingling. Nice one Alan and Sara 😁
Brilliant 🤩
It’s such an emotive experience, visiting Ypres! Glad you enjoyed it 👌🏼
It's definitely dinner and tea NOT lunch and dinner 😊
Beautiful looking sites you have been to. Love all the waterfalls 💜xx
Absolutely correct 🤩
Oh the waterfalls in Lauterbrunnen are amazing 😍
I already liked you guys but when I saw that Tubby Tom's sauce in the fridge... my level of respect went up even more!
Loving seeing a scouser doing some proper travel vids, I grew up in Crosby but moved away to Gloucestershire (not far from Tubby Tom actually!). Keep it up, big love from a lifelong camping scouser!
😄😄 he makes some great stuff, especially the outlaw gravy, turns a boring Sunday roast into a taste sensation!
You’re a posh scouser then, my mum is too, she’s from maghull 😁
Cheers mate 👍🏼
@@Professionalmoochers I'll check out the Outlaw Gravy!
Yeah you could say I'm a posh scouser... let's be honest though there's no such thing... just my parents' car had all the wheel trims on it!
Sound lad, hopefully catch you guys if you arrange another meet up.
We stayed at Camping Manor Farm 1 last year, after watching you guys, AMAZING site! We ended up staying 4 days, will defo go back one day. Hope the van gets sorted soon 👍
Amazing place isn’t it?? It’s impossible to capture it properly on camera.
Van is all good thanks, just a relay 🤩
Stunning vlog / recommendations we hope to try 😍😍👌🍻🍾
Thank you!
You should treat yourself 😉
Excellent! I had just said to Louise that we should try a European camping trip next year, maybe The Dolomites or Switzerland… then we started watching your video… and voila! 😀
😄😄 it’s probably the most boring video we’ve ever created but, the information is in there somewhere.
European road trip is the best thing you’ll ever do! It’s no stress, mega views and great people.
Get your crossing booked and enjoy it 👍🏼
Does Caravan Park Sexten take tent bookings? They say “camping”, but they may not mean camping like we do 🤔
@@burrianaUK I don’t think so, we didn’t see any tents there but, they do have holiday accommodation like tree houses etc
Stayed at the site in Ypres twice now after seeing your previous vid on it, ace place. Konigsee I’ve been to and Bad Hindelang area in Bavaria do a free pass to all the amenities if you stay at local campsites and hotels, love Bavaria and we will be back next year 👍👍
Bavaria definitely needs to be explored more by us 😍
We've recently bought a van and having watched loads of you-tubers. Now, we find we only watch you two, Helen & Martin's treks and Yorkshire pop top adventures. The videos you share are brilliant quite honestly. Watched loads of yours already and we're enjoying working our way through the back catalogue. We are still trying to pinpoint Sarah's accent, we're thinking Widdy?
Brilliant, thanks a lot!
We’re in good company with other good channels then 😁
Yes you’re right about Sarah, well spotted 😄
Yep, I’m Widnes born and bred 😀
@@Professionalmoochers Alex (my wife) was born in Liverpool and spent her early years in Widnes
@swchall I thought you would of had to of lived here to of heard of it 😂
Thanks for the recommendation Manor Farm 1
You’re welcome 🤩
It’s an amazing location!
OK so as you know I would love to do a European trip next year!! Debate between Paul and I.....should we take the caravan or just the van??? Will do sites because that's what we prefer....🤷♀️
2000 miles with a wobbly box on the back?? I wouldn’t!
Take the van and take as little kit you can get away with Jen.
It’s bloody amazing! Worth having less space.
Just choose campsites with good facilities, on-site restaurant/bar and you’ll be good 👍🏼
Really informative vlog. Just bought a small motorhome so have pinned all your recommendations on Google Maps and hopefully we will get to them all. Just off to Lake Annecy next week, hopefully site is as good as some of your top 10. Cheers
Thanks Graeme!
Annecy is definitely on our to do list, it looks amazing so you’ll no doubt have an amazing trip 👌🏼
In dutch, it is spelled IEPER. You pronounce it like you hear. In English its pronounced Ypres en you say it like wipers.
Thank you 🙏🏼
We’ve given it so many different names 😄🤦🏼♂️
Nar. Lunch for sure 😂😂😂😂
WRONG!! 😁
@@Professionalmoochers 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@Professionalmoochers seriously though folks. Love your videos. A lot of UA-camrs could do with watching your style
Agree Ypres is an amazing and somber place to visit
@ClewleysOnTour very nice of you to say! Maybe they’re all growing quickly because they don’t watch us 😄😄
Ypres, is easily one of the most memorable places we’ve EVER been to, it just really grips you 😍
