- Recap of the first season of Sweet Tooth.
Premise: Ten years ago in "The Great Crumble", society collapsed due to a viral pandemic of a disease known as the Sick, wiping out most of the world's human population, and leading to the mysterious emergence of hybrid babies that are born part human, part animal.
Unsure whether hybrids are the cause of the virus or a result of the virus, many humans fear and hunt the hybrids. Gus, a half-deer hybrid, lives in the wilderness with his father - who dies when Gus is nine years old. Gus discovers a box buried by his father beneath a tree; the box contains what Gus believes is a photograph of his mother, with the word "Colorado" written on it.
A year after his father's death, Gus sets a fire before deciding to leave his and his father's house in the wilderness to find his mother. The fire alerts nearby hunters to his location, and they try to kill Gus for sport. However, when Gus speaks, the hunters are visibly startled. The hunters are then killed by Tommy Jepperd, "Big Man", a lone traveller, who afterwards tries to leave Gus behind, but Gus follows him. Gus keeps insisting that Jepperd will escort him to Colorado to find his mother. Jepperd resists, but he ends up protecting Gus, who won't leave him alone.
The story also follows Dr. Aditya Singh as he and his wife try to find a cure for the Sick, and Aimee, a former therapist who tries to protect her sanctuary for hybrids, which is called "The Preserve". (Source: Wikipedia)

Why can't Netflix do recaps this good? The recap they did left out too many important events.
YES. Their recap is always some very weirdly ordered bunch of micro clips. It feels too much like a trailer.
OMG! yes, I was watching the first episode and their recap didn't give me anything, I was really really lost, this video is a gift
Really useful saves us watching the whole of season one again , really well put together. Thanks so much for putting this together 😊

Glad I’m not the only one that watches the recap in order to not rewatch the entire thing .

I have watched loads of zombie, pandemic, end of the world stuff including Last of US, walking dead, black summer etc and still that little scene with the chameleon boy is the one that haunts me the most....

Awesome recap!
Nice video man :]
I still don’t get why people starting giving birth to hybrids after the virus though?
It's part of the mystery
0:45 Rani wasn’t pregnant/going into labor. She got the sick, that’s why he was rushing her to the hospital.
Thx!
good recap 🔥
Im about to watch season 2 and wanna be reminded of what season 1 was when i watched it
I haas forgotten how sad it is 😢
Loved this show but what was annoying was seeing a steam train with diesel train horns instead of steam whistles. No way were these steam trains making that noise. Never the less I still loved the show, brilliantly acted great stories, can't fault the actors for failure of special effects.
It's covid 29
With all of the truth we are shown in movies...along with the predictive programming...and my knowledge of what is currently being done with genetics...I'm certain that this series is meant to get people used to the idea of human-animal hybrids. To desensitize us to a future scenario where this may be a reality, and to show us that even if children are born part animal, they are still human, too.
It seems pretty unethical to do these types of experiments on humans. Hopefully it’s just sci-fi
