- Texas Tech's Moad Zohafi runs a stellar 1:44.49 to become the first Red Raider since 2004 to win the 800m dash. Watch the full 800m race here from the 2022 NCAA outdoor track and field championships.

Good race. But I HATE how American broadcasts always cut to the winner celebrating so quickly after they cross the line. Keep the camera on the race just a few seconds more please, it's so frustrating not seeing how the rest of the scoring runners finish
Agreed, plus the athletes could use a few extra moments before they interview
You are not the only one frustrated by that!
@@Babomomebeo Yeah, first let them get a micro gram of oxygen to their brain!
American culture is all about the winner❗
Because the winner is from another nation ....That is unfair
Love how the results are given away in the thumbnails of all NCAA replays. I love to know the winner before I watch it. Makes it so much more exciting.
at least they don’t say it in the title
My thoughts exactly
Do I detect a tinge of sarcasm? 🙄
The fro brother with the cool shades, Navasky Anderson, was wobbling and still manages to come in 2nd. He was laughing while out of breath for that feat. 😂😂😂
The battle for second starts at around 600 metres, and it is much more exciting than the battle for first.
Cuz no one can do a battle for the first when Moad is there
🤝
Ur not an American with that logic 😎
The Best Zohafi
Good Luck Moad 2022....
1.43.5 - 800m.
Congratulations to Moad Zohafi!
Y'all shouldn't put the winners as the thumbnail
Man i hate that so much! Ruining the finish smh
it’s so annoying
Red Raider Nation!!! Very proud of him
If he's in this shape in a month he will be the favorite at worlds
He can run 1:43 easily impressive
Fresh legs… he took some time off because of injury so he’ll definitely be there
Max Burgin
He will be the best 👌
Strong & knows the tactic very well
I've always though the 800 meter was a sprint! Damn! That Navasky can run a fast 1500 meters too!
His 1,500m time on his TFRRS profile is mediocre compared to his 800m time.
Moad, we are proud of you. You are so talented and hard working. You have 8 years to write history. You can finish your studies later, if learning takes much time from you. بمزيد من النجاح والتألق
Hail State! Way to finish!
HOW ARE THEY RUNNING 50 second first LAPS WITH A 65% sprint 😐😭🔥
Congratulations moad zhafi
The Jason Gómez
Last to 4th
@ncaachampionships Can you please stop putting the race winner in the thumbnail?!
That was one special lean lollll. Gj not falling down on that extreme lean either
I hope all the women's races get post by this channel too.
Guns Up!
The dude with the big hair faded to last or second to last, I’m blaming it in on wind drag.
Dang three different TX schools
Texas is a country by it self population 50 millions it’s like uk Spain France
@@alexredeemed yeah it is, one of my fav States, still gotta visit Lubbock n' Austin ;-)
Ty NCAA for exposing who the winner is in the pic for every video posted of the NCAA Championships…..
bruh whys the volume so low lmao
I see Zahafi running world-class 1,500s for Morocco soon. He's got better 800 speed than El G had.
🧢
Lubbock repre-SENT!!!!
1:46 gets you a podium spot, 1:48 can put you in a competitive spot if you can kick
1:48 barely gets you out of regionals lol. Plenty of 1:47, 1:48 guys didn’t even make the national meet
That’s fast.
they should just post the thumbnail and forget about the race
One for TT
Wreck ‘em!
Hardest race in all of athletics.
So many foreign athletes getting full rides in American colleges. Sad for American kids that would otherwise benefit from a free college education.
Those American kids should get faster then
@HB NetI don’t care about the athletics part including medals. I care about Americans losing out on college scholarships often to state schools that my tax dollars help pay for.
Even your name indicates that you'r not American, go return to Spain or Mexico signorita garcia
Yours is a very old complaint that dates back a good 50 or 60 years.
lol they not even Americans running for college 🤣
NCAA media is so so so bad literally from the thumbnail to the commentary to the way the cut the shots. The rest of the finishers were only within 3 seconds of Zahafi and we didn’t even linger long enough to see 6th finish. I could film a better broadcast than these “professionals” on my nintendo DSi when I was 10
I hate the way this channel puts its thumbnail pictures up. Always shows the winner and takes the fun out of watching the race. Amateurish.
