OMG-I just made these, and they are INCREDIBLE. You weren’t kidding, Ro: hands down best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had! I didn’t have cream in the fridge for the glaze, so I used sour cream instead, and that added just that extra little blend of cinnamon roll and caramel apple to the mix. SO GOOD!!!
Just a few weeks ago, I was watching a cooking show, and they had these beautiful looking cinnamon rolls that I wanted so badly! I haven't eaten one in so long, so I'm really excited to learn how to make them!
For the international folk, I measured the weights of my ingredients. Be aware that these may be slightly off, but they should work fine. I also don't know what international people have available, so some of the measurement choices I made might not make sense to you. *_||Dough||_* *667.7g All Purpose Flour* (Make sure to only use 3/5 of the flour when you mix the dry ingredients, and save 2/5 of the flour for adding in the eggs) *472.32g Milk* (I used 1%) *57.29g Butter* ( I used salted and it turned out fine, its up to you) *51.62g Sugar* *11.15g Salt* *2 packets Fleishman's Yeast* ( about 4 1/2 teaspoons yeast. You might have to adjust the rising times though if you are not using the Fleishman's packets.) *2 Eggs* *_||Filling||_* *115.90g Brown Sugar* ( I ended up using light brown sugar, and it worked out) *0.7g Nutmeg* *8.47g Cinnamon* *1-2 Granny Smith Apples* ( I cut these up REALLY tiny [cubes of 2 1/2 mm x 2 1/2 mm] , and it turned out well. You may want them bigger though like Ro's, if you want more apple flavor per piece. In hindsight, I'd have cut them bigger.) *60g Butter* (bring this out before you start your recipe, like a half hour to an hour ahead. You want it really soft.) *_||Caramel Topping||_* *110g Butter* *209g Brown Sugar* (I used mostly dark brown sugar here) *150ml Heavy Cream* The caramel topping was way more than I needed, and I could have halved it and had been fine.
I have a recommendation: Remember the peanut butter toast cookies from your cook book “ Baking all year Round”....... well I made them and they were delicious, but I added some sweetened coconut flakes on top of the peanut butter and it was the best thing I’ve ever had. You should try it!😁

I just finished making these Cinnamon Rolls and HOLY COW they're AMAZING!! Soft, fluffy, and they taste delicious! I used Red Delicious apples instead of Granny Smith and they came out wonderfully. I didn't make the sauce-frosting, but it tasted awesome without it. 10/10

although I messed up this recipe by starting with all 5 cups of flour (based on the description) and then realized my mistake when I watched the video that Ro started with 3 cups + I left my dough to sit for 5 hours bc I started late at night and wanted it fresh in the morning instead, they still turned out GOOD! the kneading really saved my mistake and letting it proof for longer just let the cinnamon rolls expand more which looked beautiful! I chose not to use apples or the glaze (searched up dif recipe) Ro used bc I just wanted regular cinnamon rolls and they still tasted amazing! Using actual good yeast in the video thats not expired (bc my mom usually refuses to buy new ones) has been a game changer. This recipe really boosted my confidence in baking more goods and I now trust Ro's recipes (was always skeptical since my first ever batch of cinnamon rolls from a website turned out bad)! Really thankful that Ro took the time to experiment this perfect recipe:)

The dough is really soft and chewy if you leave out the eggs. I've made it this was every time, and it's perfect!
