Oh man, I am so impressed with my 101. The band made a small tear come up on the side of my eye. I came in Fall '90. We were hazed, hacked and hammered. Every alumni band member that I spoke with and saw the show was really impressed. My eyes are red, I cannot see, it must be the band from SCSC. The 101 connection is here!! Yes, I went to SCState before the name change, the old band hall, and Mr. Sargent. I may not like the gimmicks but I will always love the 101. Again "CONGRATS GREAT SHOW"
I'm not even going to lie. I haven't been the biggest SCSU marching 101 fan in the past but this performance right here clearly just changed that!!!!! I was here yesterday and every other band before them were just arlight, and some quite a bore but I had feeling that SCSU was about to bring it and I was right! I was in my seat acting a fool during this show! They sounded nice! Drill was nice! Auxiliary was nice and the song selections were phenomenal! Go Job SCSU! Good Job! See you next year!

I agree, SCSU and BCU are better than FAMU in the MEAC. Not taking anything from FAMU, but I think they are overrated. SCSU Marching 101 all day, every day!!!!
