Very neat explanation! especially i like those pictures of cells! :P unfortunately we don't have a clear explanation about Low-level internal exposure like this in Japan. i wish i could make something like this !
+Thomas Cowley Radiation in general may it be ionizing or ultraviolet can cause damage to the DNA. UV in particular, damages the DNA via the formation of pyrimidine dimers. The disruption of the pi electrons (double bonds) in the pyrimidine bases (C and T) induces now the formation of cyclobutyl ring, kinda similar to what was illustrated in 2:11. Ionizing radiation, disrupts the DNA differently, and that's what I am trying to figure out at the moment. XD

spookiest science video 2016
Thank You! I have been studying the affects of atomic bombs and radiation! I have been studying but never got a result of radiation
Thank you for this video!!! 🙏🏾
U.V. light can be ionising
+Thomas Cowley Not actually ionizing, but it will cause molecular bond damage.

Cool!
Yeaah
Not generally. UV light is generally not considered ionizing, though there is enough energy to disturb molecular bonds.
well organized presentation
what a video simply awesome..
from your video i am now able to get my presentation why and how radiation effect on chromosome and dna
Scary.
Very informative! Thanks you!
Thankyou! This has been a massive help to my nuke phys assignment :)
Some interesting shit this is!
2:51 "errors in the genetic code", what ??? the genetic code is the same for every living being. Did you mean the genetic sequence ?
There isn't really a difference there, is it? You're kind of making an ass of yourself.
I stopped watching because he doesn't get to the point

I stopped watching as soon as I realized amino was misspelled. credibility is important...
+MiVidaBellisima cool
You didn't capitalize "credibility" at the beginning of your second sentence.
head shot
Justin Ruark Congratulations! You get a gold star!
You will be back.
