Dude, John has such a sensitive touch for the delicate little nuances - it's incredible. He not only grasps every section fully, but he layers over it a fine veneer of "Longstrethness" that none other can imitate.

John could easily play Infant Annihilators newest material that Aaron from Infant says is too hard to pull off live on drums which is why he did the drums on the newest album through strictly drumming software. The other drummers that could pull it off because the bands they play in are just as fast and technical as Infant are:

George Kolias from Nile can play literally anything. A lot of Niles most popular material is not that difficult I know. But he is seriously an insane drummer. Also that Dude who played with Necrophagist on Epitaph, was absolutely ridiculously good as well
@@big_hat_logan George would definitely be on that list I just wanted to keep it short 😄. There are sooo many drummers, guitarists, bassists out there (most are unknowns) that are pushing the boundaries of technicality and brutality out further and further. That’s why when I hear people say dumb 💩 like (this coming mainly from non musicians/beginner musicians/biased musicians) “_______ is the best drummer (or guitarist, bassist) in extreme metal and no one can touch them !” I just think, they have no clue on what they are talking about. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a person having a favorite musician that they enjoy there playing better than everyone else they have heard so far but saying someone is the best is just stupid. There are so many different techniques and styles of playing even within the same genre of music to say who the best is plus to say someone is the best means that person has listened to every single musician in the worlds playing and judged them each with there self proclaimed expert musical judging knowledge to declare the best 😄. I’ve been playing drums for 32 years and guitar for 27 and what I’ve learned is when you think you or someone else is the best there is always someone out there that’s better. Anyways, props 🤜🤛 for throwing out George’s name out there plus Hannes G. was with Necrophagist. I watched him compete on a drumming series on tv. He made it pretty far but lost in the semifinals which sucked. Take care bro and cheers 🍻!

John had very limited time to learn the songs. I'm sure they will add some older stuff at some point.
For real, that album absolutely owns all the others they’ve put out. King of all Kings has two tracks I like. Conquering the throne is badass start to finish
In 4:16 roddy Derek doesnt double bass with the tom. Hes single foot blasting with the tom. But double double bass is a nice touch
Derek Roddy did not record that song. It was jade and he did play double bass underneath the Toms like on the album. But either way kick ass drumming

it's recording with just a Normal camera on a stage where the level of noise is always insane . they did not take the sound from the board.

Speaking of deleted videos there used to be a few videos of when Longstreth was playing with Dying Fetus, I remember he was wearing a baseball cap and watching him play with Fetus was insane, but for some reason I cant find those videos anymore.
