Well I know what I'm gunna play during long drives by myself. I always try to sing harmony but am off key SO much unless I get in there and really learn it. Cant wait to watch more!
Thank you! 🙌🏻For now, there're 15 tutorials here but new content is coming soon. "Sound of Silence" is a perfect song but first I need to find someone to record it with me cause this lower part is out of my range. One day I'll do it for sure. 😉 Thank you for your comment. ❤️

You are just amazing, the best singing teacher I've ever encountered hahaha. really, can't believe in how you organized this.
A friend of mine wanted to try something in her DAW and needed me to sing the vocals of this song. Interestingly enough, even though I've been singing in choirs for a few years and recently even been writing and recording my own arrangements with multiple vocal parts (mostly barbershop quartet or band+lead vocals+choir), I find it surprisingly difficult to learn and sing two-part harmony in a pop-rock song. My intonation is just all over the place! Although that may in part be because of how high the second vocals go... I really like your way of singing, it's perfectly in tune, healthy and it fits the style of the song really well. I am kinda surprised by how much energy you've got in your voice, too, since your basically singing an octave lower from the original male singers, relative to your range. You must have been blessed with a few excellent vocal teachers/coaches over the years. I will definitely subscribe to you and try some of the other harmony tutorials you already have on your channel. Cheers!
Hi! What can I say... this song requires some "tension" in voice and you have to hold it pretty much all the time. If you ware singing in choirs or barber quartets the sound is definitely different here. In terms of my vocal education. I've been learning for years. I had many different teachers and still I think it's more about student's curiosity and involvement. To be honest I learned the most with listening and copying 😉 I strongly recommend to investigate mix technique to build strong base, find a perfect balance and when you can sing all the scales smoothly without audible register transition then you can build on it whatever you want to and switch pretty much to every style you like. Thank you for your comment 😊 If you have any further questions just ask 🎵
@@openmindedsinging Hi, I just wanted to thank you really quick. Since you responded I was semi consistently working on that stuff. I realized that the ability to mix confidently is nearly as valuable to me as, say, building good support. My singing is getting much more expressive, mostly because I am growing a much larger range in dynamics and color. That being said, I am still only starting to grasp this concept and will have to work on it for quite some time. And copying other singers doesn't sound too hard, but there are so incredibly subtle inflections with most competent singers that I can work on a single phrase for way over 10 minutes, whereas before I just would have said "Gotcha, these are the words, notes and rhythms, let's go to the next part." There's just sooo much stuff that I can implement in my own singing. Fascinating. So thank you for your help and guidance. These few sentences of you lead me to realize just how much there is to unpack in my voice, and I believe there is so much more. I absolutely love it.
You've got a fantastic voice! You should have a recording contract with a major label. As for the crowd I run with: Married a lesbian, left a man at the altar, fell in love with a gay Ice Dancer, threw a girls' wooden leg in a fire, LIVE IN A BOX!
Great video, thanks a lot for the help with the harmonics! (The entry of the second voice is uncanny, holy shit, this is so hard to pinpoint) Hope you continue to do great stuff :) Left a sub :)
This is awesome. I usually learn the back up harmonies on Karoke, but they're not always clear. This is a great tool. Can u do the harmony for the Ooh La La's, in Paris Ooh La La, Lifetyles of the Rich and Famous and Lights (Journey)?
Sorry I skipped the bridge. 🙈 I was just focusing on the part that is the theme song of the series. I hope it is still useful. 🤷🏻♀️ Thank you for your comment. 🎶
@@openmindedsinging all my loving, i wanna hold your hand, i saw her standing there... those are very good and simple. Help! would be a good one for a more advanced lesson :)
Great video! I am the lead singer in a band, and teaching my friends the harmonies can sometimes be hard. We've been rehearsing this song and your video will be a very helpful aid! So thank you!!! BTW - how about the C part of this song? It's a bit different and totally deserves it's own follow-up video :-)
W sumie właśnie ten pomysł zrodził się z koncepcji Before&After tylko ewoluował w stronę edukacyjną, żeby każdy mógł coś z tego wyciągnąć dla siebie i się czegoś nauczyć. 😉
Thank you! 🙌🏻 "Lonely Day" is a really good idea. I'll definitely do it. Now I have already three videos in prep but after that I'll definitely go for System of a Down! Thank you again 😄👍🏻

The quality of your content is really good. Do more vedios like this. A good song with harmony is: sound of silence.

If you want to request a song it will be the best if you'll give me an artist's name and a title of the song 😉
