Best review on Hyryder so far. Instead of taking about the design - you started explaining the working of Engine & Battery right away. You also tested the mileage & most importantly you checked for how long we can run the car purely on battery. Gaadi waadi also showed that we can also run the AC if the engine is turned off. Most important thing was mileage test - you got 20.5 kmpl when vehicle was run for 80-90km/hr speed, so we can easily get 24-25 mileage if we drive at 60 in a relaxed manner. Overall a very good review 😊👍🏻
@@cyrilelanjithara6284 30-50kmph implies within the city in most cases. So, range is less of an issue. Why not consider a pure EV with 300-350km real range? It will be far smoother and much cheaper to run, plus provide better performance. The range is also enough for trips to nearby towns etc.

Good detailed review! Few things I noticed: 1. You should have driven in D mode instead of B mode. B mode activates regenerative breaking and should be used when driving down the slope. It uses engine braking that helps controlling car’s speed during down hill. It also charges battery much faster. But this may be the reason for low mileage. 2. In city with mild to bumper to bumper traffic, you can easily get 22-25 mileage and 24-27 in light traffic. Provided you’re light on throttle and drive smoothly. You would really enjoy the ride. On highways It gives 21-23 kmpl, may be even more if you get good understanding of how hybrid tech works. Over all it gives double the milage of petrol cars and 35-45% higher than diesel cars. Other tan mileage, car drive quality is awesome, you would love how car glides on battery. It is fun to drive this car plus Toyota’s reliability is another thumbs up.
What!! With Hybrid we still get only 20.5 ? My Honda Amaze 2013 Diesel still gives 25-26 with speeds at 80-90 and I got 30 kmpl when we tested at 60-70 kmph on highway even after 10 years. I expected hybrid gives at least 30+ kmpl. I am gonna stick to my Amaze for another few more years. Great review team. Respect you guys going straight to the point without any nonsense talk.

In petrol models we will get mileage around 17,18 acoording to company So gap is only 7,8 k.m So think about it Hum kitne time me apna extra money jo ki EV mode k liye lagai h usko kab pura kar paynge?
@@amitsainitheroamer please tell me the name of sub compact SUV that gives 17Kmpl in city traffic. You are taking ARAI figures for other cars and then comparing it with worst case economy of a hybrid car. That is selective judgement. As I said... this car will go around 25Kmpl in city which will be at least 10Km more than other cars of same category for urban driving. Plus if it is at about 19L ex-showroom then it is competitive because creta top version is at similar price tag. Which means there is premium of only about 1L if you compare all bells and whistles. This is the only factor that will impact the success of this car now. Also, usage will decide the car choice. Someone who lives in urban settings can easily be biased towards this car. But someone who drives mostly on highway will definitely avoid this car due to lack of performance numbers and no benefits of fuel economy. Car choices are always subjective and depend on user scenarios.

@@RAJ-km8gw ho bhi sakta hai, maine bi aisa hi socha tha. But video mai to ekdum accurate dono mai. Agar 2km ka difference hai tab bhi 23kmpl on our brezza. Thats great.
@@SoibT2166
Yess brezza is a brilliant car..
what a detailed video boss, great 👍
Expected 25kmpl 😭
If you are primarily city user you will surely get 25
@Battle Ground this is not a new technology, check reviews of old prius, this specific engine is found on toyota yaris cross hybrid, drive below 75km/h you will beat Arai figures
Best gift for my dad in future. Better economy and safety with features ❤❤
This car is going to rock in the market ❤️
@Battle Ground first thing its a Toyota , so no such problem would appear in ur battery performance , even if it gone wrong in few years by then batteries ll be very cheap looking at the pace at which manufacturers r bringing new advancements in cell technology .... U r getting atleast 8kmpl more over a normal petrol car .... Imagine the savings if u r a daily driver ...
@@prudhviraj6416 best thing is that normal cars have bad Fuel economy in city drives they give around 10-13kmpl but due to this car being hybrid it can easily give 23kmpl in cities bcz of regenerative braking. so hybrid will save a lot in city drives compared to normal cars.
Very good review
Hyryder front looks should be improved a lot that’s why sales are too much down
Too much difference in ARAI claimed milage 28 kmpl and actual figures 20.4 kmpl !
But 20 is enough
Deepak sir, check the same for other cars with 4 adult passengers.. the difference between ARAI and actual will more than 8-9 km/l
Fully loaded car hai bhai... Thoda to dimaag lagao, ARAI is testing with single driver 🤣
Meri Baleno hi de deti hai 21-22 with full loaded.
Baleno hatchback hai suv nahi
Excellent video . Simplest n the best informative video
Bakwas technology h strong hybrid
Itni Kam mileage mili h pure EV mode par to phir kya fayda itni extra money dene ka
Highway par itni Kam speed like 30,40 par to vse bhi nahi drive kr skte
Hybrids and EVs give better economy in city traffic, not on Highways. So this is actually the worst performance this car can give.
@@amitpatilamit
How much mileage will give in city traffic according to you?
I think maximum 5,7 k.m
So why we give a huge amount for hybrid cars?
@@amitsainitheroamer I don't think the price is out yet, or did they declare the pricing? This car's future depends on the very factor of how they price it. If it ends up at 18-19L ex-showroom, it will do just fine.
BTW, in city it will end up with 24-25 Kmpl. Compare that to same category ICE cars, they end up with less than 15Kmpl in city.
@@amitpatilamit
I am talking about mileage on Pure EV mode only not total mileage per k.m includes battery and petrol.
Prices are totally another point
Company will give their strong hybrid model with extra 1.5 lakh or more.
Then why we give extra money for this model. The question was that?
In petrol models we will get mileage around 17,18 acoording to company
So gap is only 7,8 k.m
So think about it
Hum kitne time me apna extra money jo ki EV mode k liye lagai h usko kab pura kar paynge?
Gaurav Bhai
I was having Latest WagonR
I saw your video on N10 I took N10. Then I saw your all videos on Scorpio N z8l but booking issues but I was planning to book. I saw your this Hyrider review....now what should I do😊
Etna detail review all positives and negatievs very honest reviews.
3 cyl engine is letdown!!!!!
Honda did a great job with engine in city hev
3cylinder engine consumes less fuel than an 4 cylinder engine producing same power
It's a great car. We own same model. 27+ mileage in the city.
Great content, I could say best as I was planning for htryder
Ek number review Raoshaab👌🏻
Best review. Everything included which a buyer needs to know.
Superb explanation i understand because of this hybrid 3-5 km extra milege come from battery depending on speed of your ride.
How is the pick up at 100-120 compared to creta turbo and diesel torque engines and do with city ride as max speed with 60-80 km
We need to see the price different from regular and strong hybrid if it is 2.5 lac extra onroad then regular engine is best for people with running 800-1000km per month seeing the maintenance after 5 years in future of batteries also
Any idea what will be the battery replacement cost?
Best reviewer for this vehicle😊
Great job,
however there is huge gap between the claimed mileage and the actual here. The concern is because the realistic mileage expectation would be much better at least close to the claimed
The claimed mileage will be received in city. Hybrids and EVs are best for cities as battery will be used more often
This car is a blessing for a high traffic city like Bengaluru or Guwahati.
Best review till date on hyryder
Nice review, quick question - in pure ev mode 2kms only is not good mileage . Should have been atleast 25+
So after every 4-5 km drive & engine braking regeneration, it gets around 1 KM EV range
Please suggest....Hyryder or vitara??? Dono m se kon si Jada achhi hai....pls rply
Gajab car h bhai ...it will change the future of low cost hybrid cars
