We were kids in the 60s, and there was only 1 shoe! Chuck Taylor Converse Allstars! 💎 My brother had brand new Chucks and his friends talked him in to jumping the neighbors fence to retrieve a ball. Their dog was mad crazy and ripped the sole off his new shoes! My mother duck taped them shoes and he had to wear them all summer! 😂 We're both in our 60s and still laugh about that ish like it was yesterday! 🤣🤣🤣

My Close friend spent 12 years locked up. Wrongfully convicted, had his case overturned, sued the City and got 21 million.
Yea but that was a wrongful conviction. With the scenario that they used, they were willingly and knowingly breaking the law at the time. If their settlements reached “millions” at all, it for damn sure wouldn’t reach double digits.

For me it was Timberland boots in 8th grade. I begged mom's for a pair amd showed examples but still got some Wal Mart wolverines. They were construction boots so they went all the way up the calve. 27:34 @Chaz a single ride here in nyc on the train or bus is $2.90 now. They just raised it a few weeks ago. I’m not sure how much a weekly or monthly card is anymore since I use the “tap and go” via my cell phone (debit or credit card or an OMNY card). You just tap your phone on the turnstile entrance like you would when you’re paying for something at a store.
$2.90 x 2 rides a day minimum (to and from work) = $5.80/day x 5 days a week minimum works week = $29/week.

I got a MRI through the VA and when I got the bill it said the cost was about 4K. Then it says the VA paid off $300 so the debt was cleared. That was the clearest sign of "everything is a scam" I ever seen.
