Might sound weird but I genuinely miss scheduled tv shows. Like when I was a preteen I’ll be front of my grandma tv because she had cable at like I think it was 7 or 8 I’ll be watching Keenan and Kel then All That. Every day after school 3pm watching rap city then 106 and TRL when I started venturing out to different styles of music. Streaming is great but it kind of took away the appreciation and anticipation for seeing your favorite show or your favorite artist videos. Seeing Chris Brown on 106 and Nysc on Trl was the glory days. lol now you got so much right on your phone you don’t even care about watching. If you see it you see it and that’s that. Just don’t hit the same.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, it's around my birthday and I love the food and being with family!

Yeah I miss Hastings, Hollywood Video (had the 7 full days movie & video game rental) Blockbuster (video game tournaments & the popcorn & snack packs). The Blockbuster we went to had Little Caesars so we would get pizza & movies then go home.
Raven being left off is amazing to me. I can’t lie Topanga or however you spell it made me notice white girls, hey Wendy Copper, the girl from even Stevens, Ashley from French prince, the black girl from boy meets world, Kayla Pratt, that Latina girl from that show Taina, HILARY DUFF man my preteen years. Thanksgiving is on the day my mother died a week after that my house caught fire my sister died less that two months after her my grandmother died in November while I enjoy the holidays they are not the happiest time for me anymore I have to really sometime force myself to enjoy those days because I still have my brothers who are in Highschool and I want them to still have as much of a good memory as possible

41:23 It all depends on what the families value. I definitely am a believer that holidays shouldn't be more important that the other days. Say for the big 4 (Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years Eve) if those are the days you act your best & on your best behavior, but the other 361 days I was no existent then you can't blame me for maybe not participating on those days. Seems flaky & fake. If people have good relationships with their friends & family then it's easier to come together on those days because it doesn't feel or seem like you're just putting on a show then when the day is over we're non existent again.
