Jax may not look like it, but he must have some husky to him. So much drama. Dina seemed to actually enjoy the blowdryer. No signs of stress that I could see, and just dreamy eyes. Oh, warm air feels real good.
I don't get why I can't comment on this, I had a boxer husky who was a puppy...... I had no idea the stomach he had, he's 1st 4 months he was soooooo sick. Explosive poop, I had to bath him every day for a month. Til I figured out what was going on, it's awful. Beautiful dogs
Explosive diarrhea after a groom. That would bring me to my knees as a groomer. Poor little Dinah was so stressed, but she held it in as long as she could. I’ll bet this happens to groomers more than they let on to the owners. Hugs to both for getting through it!
Haha!!! Everyone commenting in the middle of the video, myself included, on how good Dinah is compared to Jax. Now we all know. Jax was trying to warn us!!! He knew it was coming!!!
The old salon I worked at had a great pyrenees who had diarrhea after every. single. appointment. His profile had all caps notes all over it telling people DO NOT KENNEL HIM AFTER HE'S DONE HE WILL POOP ALL OVER HIMSELF.

Long speech about explosive diarrhea and it's consequences "And THAT is a glamorous life of a pet groomer!" I'm dying of laugh, I'm sorry, Vanessa, it's both terrible and hillarious!
I love Dinah's face as she's getting blow dried and Jax is having a meltdown in the background she almost has this look of "bro, ain't no thing, just chill"
I think he was trying to convince her that he is a good boy and doesn't need a bath. Similar to someone trying to convince a person pointing a gun at them to not shoot. Nervous smile and laugh... Hey, were friends, right
If the female dog had explosive diarrhea that means she was stressed out even though she didn’t pant and appear as nervous as her brother. She definitely had us fooled. Beautiful dogs. I have a yellow lab mix that sheds like crazy but doesn’t have a super long coat. Same color as these dogs. Gotta love them.
I think the only reason Goldens don't like baths is because they smell nice. They'd have the time of their life if they were being bathed in swamp water and rotten fish guts.
My uncle always kept goldens when I was a kid, and he loves them, cries when they pass on and everything despite his whole "manly welder who hunts and fishes and works on cars" attitude, he loves his dogs. He has a big barbecue every summer when they race hydroplanes on Lake Washington, because the family likes to watch and bet on the races and made an event out of it. The dogs come trotting up to every group that approaches the property with their tennis balls in their mouths, tails wagging like "hello human, clearly you are visiting to play with me because I love you!" They're good dogs, I've never met an aggressive golden.
I’ve had two. My first golden was literally the calmest guy you’ve ever met; spent his first year with lots of pen time and actually acted pretty crazy until he came home with us. My second, who I have now, is about a 3rd or 4th hand dog. He has some aggression when it comes to some actions and preferred foods and is a runner, so must be leashed when outside. The snappiness was much worse when he was younger. He still has to be sedated for vet work and any nail trims, but doesn’t mind me brushing and bathing him. He’s definitely my baby but that doesn’t mean I can trust him to have company manners.
Poor Jax. Very stressed with the tube of death. Dinah is like, whatever lady. But Jax trying to bite the air coming out of the tube was hilarious. You are such a considerate groomer. ❤❤❤
Well, the explosive diarrhea afterwards may mean that she wasn't as calm as she seemed. Though since she was wagging her tail hard enough to spray watery poop all over the shop, it may have just been something she ate.
@@cathydaly3436 Vanessa is amazing. I had a chocolate lab who loved his groomer/day care and boarding center. He just thought they were part of his family. It's hard for many dogs to be dropped off with a stranger who then bathes them. I'm sure they all had a good nap when the groom was done-including Vanessa!😂😂

Rescues has nothing to do with it they are both purebred Golden Retrievers. Doesn't mean they are well bred either. Also the girl being a rescue probably has some history that has caused her calmness, perhaps some neglect who knows while jax, has been in the family since a puppy and has been used to being the center of attention for so long and now tat he has to share the limelight with his new sister he whines to show his jealousy. No argument or bashing here, just saying that both are sweet and kind dogs with different personalities to love.

Jax turned into a husky for his groom. 😂 Dinah was just chill, but let you know how she really felt with her diarrhea. It was her form of revenge. 😂 Glad you were able to get them all cleaned up, along with your shop, in the end. 😊
The only bad thing about the golden retriever is the grooming. Our precious Brandy didn’t mind her bath but the challenge was the brushing. She always wanted to lay down. Of course, you could only brush her outside because of all of the hair! I miss our beautiful girl so much.
I'm always surprised that more dogs don't freak out from the blow dryer between the sound and its intensity. Personally, I can't stand air blowing at me, and I'm amazed when dogs sit so calmly during the blow dry, and I am in awe of the dogs that seem to love it!
My sister is a groomer the hoodie muffles the sound a lot and most dogs love the feeling of the air on their skin under the fur because all the little water droplets running down their skin drives them nutty
A friend of mine was a pet groomer. I used to help her out sometimes, and I have to say that pet grooming is a very physically hard job. Vanessa is amazing. She is probably the best pet groomer I’ve ever seen. Her compassion for the animals is beyond compare.❤

Lather your hands generously with a scentless cream like lubriderm and then put on cotton gloves and leave overnight. I was frequently cleaning using dish soap and my hands were cracking, but i HATE hand cream because it never seemed to soak it up, and my hands were just slippery, and this method worked wonders for me.

So I was a dog-washer at Petco in college and I've watched maybe 20 of your videos now and was thinking "wow none of these doggos have had explosive diarrhea during the process, or worse, right after finishing them!" lol...and here we are. Your videos are so interesting/satisfying to watch! Some part of me misses this job?? Iykyk lol. but one thing I do not miss is being pooped on, peed on...and getting covered in all the smelly fluids that come out of our beloved pets. And I only did the non-haircutting dogs like labs and huskies because I am terrified of taking sharp objects around wiggly critters--groomers are doing important work y'all! Don't forget to tip them! :)
Your videos always make me smile and remind me to be grateful for the wonderful folks who professionally groom our pets. I just took my very large and very furry Great Pyrenees to the groomer, and despite his “issues” he came home beautifully groomed, smelling sweet and feeling a little spacey from the drugs the vet had to administer. Did it cost a lot? Yes. Was it worth every penny? Absolutely!
HAH 6 seconds into the video and I already know how this is going to go. Seeing Dina looking around her elegantly and then cutting to Jax as he hunches like the goofball he is, perfect summary of everything that is them. Lovely video as usual

Retrievers always look so cute and sweet, especially when they're puppies or starting to get their grey faces from old age. I love them so much.
Jacks sounds like he has a husky in his lineage 😂❤❤❤
Dinah enjoyed her spa day! What a princess. 🥰😍😍😍
so cute that dinah is the do what you want girl character and jax is the jealous sibling type .. such polar opposite but oh both are so cute and lovable :)
Dina is just so sweet. Looking into her eyes, she just wants to please. Gorgeous pups, both of them!
I think the boy is upset he can't see her. She is his emotional support ❤️
There owners were so happy to see them... as they were them! They looked great, and what a hoot at the personality differences!
Jacks and Dina two American kids growing up in the heartland. They are beautiful dogs, got little upset during the blow dry. Great Groom.
😂
Suckin on chili dogs outside the Tasty Freeze.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Happy New Year 🍾🥂 ! I just want to hug them !
Absolutely!
Dinah is such a pretty petite lil golden princess.
Dinah is absolutely gorgeous in both looks and temperament 🥹❤️
HAH 6 seconds into the video and I already know how this is going to go. Seeing Dina looking around her elegantly and then cutting to Jax as he hunches like the goofball he is, perfect summary of everything that is them. Lovely video as usual
