The number of top tier teams that can take games off each other regularly is much higher today... Between faze, navi, mibr, liquid, and the tier 2 teams that can push deep into tourneys these days, without a doubt astralis is the most dominant team to ever play csgo. The skillcap has been bounced off of so many times that you saw teams with run of form from pure skill that created those classic eras, like forest gtr, olaf, kennys, cold/fallen, guardian, simple, but what astralis did was turn the game upside down. No other team has been able to formulate a gameplan that is as complete as Astralis. Just look at their depth of utility strats and you can see they are obviously a step above any other team to date.

Why are people complaining about astralis playing almost perfect CS? Literally almost other big teams have the same resources in their hand. Just get better. Massive credit to ENCE for making it to the Major final despite their lack of experience in tier 1 tournaments and doing it by beating the No.2 & 3 teams in the world.
Never would I ever say ENCE had a chance against this Astralis. They played well on train reaching double digits but that was it. Props to them though for eliminating Liquid and NaVi, that is an achievement for their rosters first major.
ENCE already beat BIG, G2, Avangar, Liquid and NaVi in bo3 before Astralis match so give better arguments if ENCE did not deserve the spot in the final match. If you claim that it was boring final you definetly missed ENCE’s quarter and semifinal matches, they were probably the most entertaining games I have seen for a while. Astralis is currently just too much for every other CS:GO team and that is the fact. However, ENCE’s journey in the Majors is absolutely remarkable and second place is more than deserved.
