Excellent video. Today's severe weather and 8 inches of rain we got here in avoyelles parish left a lot of cane laying on the ground. It's going to be tough for the cane farmers to finish this year's harvest.

Hello, how are you, I'm from Brazil, I'm a harvester operator here in Brazil for 12 years, your comment about the difficulty of harvesting sugarcane, I saw it on TV there in Louisiana, there was a tornado that affected your region, I can't even imagine what a sugarcane field looks like afterwards of a tornado the difficulty to harvest the cane.

Hi again. I see were back to the early morning 'moody' pictures, and very nice they are too, - they, (it), doesn't seem to affect your 'eye in the sky'. Was the 'night' running even earlier in the morning or like that mill do they run 24/7 when necessary. I'm curious as to who owns all the 'trailers' you see, even the ones behind the tractors in the field. I don't think I've seen in your videos this year so many of the 'cutters' using their 'top cutters' as they seem to be doing in all of them at the moment, how the hell the driver can see I'll never know. I presume all the machines are owned by the respective farms or is it a case, (no joke intended), of if one farm has finished and another is 'struggling' a bit that they will 'lend' a 'cutter' to help out. - Yet another of your excellent videos, I really enjoy them. ......... P.S. - I see some of the 'white birds' are back.😊👍.

Thanks, no the farm doesn't run 24/7. The mill gives them a daily quota to fill. I know sometimes the mills will send their harvester groups to help out if a farmer needs it. The part I shot in the dark was when I first arrived. I wanted to get some aerial footage in the dark but it didn't come out how I wanted unfortunately. Thanks for watching !

Wow awesome video Al! With the mill in the back ground it looked awesome! Are these Landry Bros related to those on the TV show Swap People?

Great video, what is the distance between the rows of planting? 6 feet or 6.5 feet between the rows?
