thinking about a putting a two brothers on, probably a dumb question, but once the exhaust is removed, is it possible to just keep the original pipes on the bike and just slip the two brothers on? or are the pipes that comes with bro exhaust specifically made for the exhaust and have to go on to fit?
thanks 4 the video bro.i bought the same bike but in black on last Sunday and I would like to have the same/or setup exaust like yours but is there a big diference on the sound? or better full exaust system?
Andrey ???? yes its me again.damn lol one last question. did you put any ( muffler connector gasket ) on the new pipe.i mean the end of the new pipe where it goes in into where is the cat converter ????? i found the stock pipe it was an muffler connector gasket in it ,so I guess that the new pipes needs one too. thanks in advance
I just bought this Exhaust for same bike and all - i am wondering if the 2 brothers slip on will fit the stock mid pipe? if not i will have to do some mods.
yeah but i cant use the 2 bros mid pipe since i have my stock mid-pipe welded to the headers. so my question was did the 2 bros slip-on fit the stock mid-pipe.
I'm changing my exaust and I have 2 screws that I may be in trouble. your video min.9 13 that metal between footpeg and exaust. I will come here today with an update. fingers cross because if the screws get damaged 😣😣😣😣😣😣
Hey whats upp man. I plan on doing this this weekend but at 4:17 I dont have any of those cables on my bike I bought it usedl It works and drives fine tho
Tobi Tobs Maybe the previous owner had a aftermarket exhaust and switch it to back to stock when he sold it and did not put the cables back. But it's cool those cables are not needed.
Did that come with the bracket underneath the light for the license plate? If not, do you have a link for where you bought the hardware? I've followed your video to a T for my exhaust install and love your set up.
Bro at 13:40, that bracket around your tail light, do you really need it to hold the exhaust together? Here I have the same exact bike as this one and even the same exhaust (ua-cam.com/video/HwSpyEQyM0M/v-deo.html) but mine has that bracket that you have, do I really need it? or is it just to hold the tail light and the license plate? I will go bracketless, and will add that flexible tail light just like the link I shared. I hope I get an answer, so I can get on with this project tomorrow! Thank you!
Thank you! you can have my phone number give me a call or text me? I am going crazy right now trying to look for the answer lol, but your video is the one that goes in depth the most! thanks again!
Can't thank you enough on this video. I used it every step of the way to do mine. Sounds so much nicer! Thank you!
I got the same exact exhaust definitely worth it and louder then the stock 👍
Great video man! Been looking at 08 6rs and was wondering how to do the exhaust pipe install. Love that you mention to keep bolts and things together.
Nice video congrats, keep you good work bud!!!
Thanks man for the vid. Helps me put my slip on exhaust
this video is helpful, I'm halfway through mine....but have a bolt i cant remove ! Did you have a heat shield or heat wrap on the new one ?
No
If the new exhaust is carbon fiber it won't need a heat shield. And most of the exhuast have inner shields wrapped aroubd the baffles.
Thank you for this.
Last question. How did you tuck all the wires and stuff and route them back to the tailight
Tobi Tobs
The wires are tucked in under the seat. I just ran the wires under the exhaust to the taillight.

No you have to remove your stock exhaust and use 2 brothers exhaust pipes.
@@AndreychukAndrey sweet bro! thanks for the reply, just subbed and added your vid to one of my how to playlist. Thanks for the video.
What tail light is that I’m looking for one that looks like the stock just like that one
I bought it on eBay.
thanks 4 the video bro.i bought the same bike but in black on last Sunday and I would like to have the same/or setup exaust like yours but is there a big diference on the sound? or better full exaust system?
Way better sound then stock. I really like it and get a lot of compliments on it. It's not to loud but perfect loud. Big sound difference over stock.
+Andrey Andreychuk thank you.
Where did you get your exhaust from ? do you mind commenting the link ?
I don't remember where I got it from.
Awesome job.
I have this kit I followed you video but for some reason my x ring to mount the pipe to the can does not fit
Can you put a side mounted exhaust on this model i have and 08 zx6r but I want a side mounted one is it possible?
I looked it up, I see it is possible.
What did you used to unscrew the pipe cover... mine is so damn tight the screws are being striped
Pipe cover?
The black piece with 4 bolts that stopped the pipe from coming out.
Just you hace to re thread th3 holes or just leave that piece out.

Yes you have to reuse your from the stock
thank you
That is alot of extra work you have to do with the two brothers. The Yoshi rs5 cuts work in half. no added mid pipe used stock
I AM ABOUT TO BUY THIS ONE AND RE-USE STOCK mid pipe since i welded my headers to mid-pipe. hopefully the 2 brothers slip on fits stock mid pipe
i just ordered a used two brothers slip-on. it will fit with my stock brake light and license plate position?
Sorry I'm not 100% sure because when you buy it brand new 2 brothers gives you the fender eliminator.
how long does it takes in total to remove and replace it?
sjaak diepbrink I'm not really sure. Probably a little over an hour.
Andrey Andreychuk ahh oke, just one more question, where did you bought the slip on exhaust?
sjaak diepbrink
www.biohazardcycles.com
Andrey Andreychuk thanks mate, really good video, thumbs up
I just bought this Exhaust for same bike and all - i am wondering if the 2 brothers slip on will fit the stock mid pipe? if not i will have to do some mods.
Giovanny Chavez. 2 bros gives you the mid pipes.
yeah but i cant use the 2 bros mid pipe since i have my stock mid-pipe welded to the headers. so my question was did the 2 bros slip-on fit the stock mid-pipe.
Giovanny Chavez. Yes and no you probably will have to modify it.
where can I get that bracket that holds the right-side fairing piece near the exhaust? Video time 13:11
I think mine came with the exhaust. I would try eBay.
Do you know what the bracket is called? Lmfao been looking all night since I’ve seen this video. Lol
I just checked my brother does not have one also .
I heard when buying a 2 bros, they include a servo buddy. Is that true?
No
Mine did not.
That bracket @13:13, did that come with the kit?
Yes
What do you do with the servo and cables just leave them off ?
Take out the cables leave the servo.
Andrey Andreychuk thank you bro !

Oh okay Well Damn thans for the super quick reply. Ive been using all your videos to work on my bike. :-)
Where did get the bracket for the aftermarket exhaust? Or did you custom it?
It came with everything in the kit.
Where did you get the tail light from?
hsubhani1. Ebay
Did that come with the bracket underneath the light for the license plate? If not, do you have a link for where you bought the hardware? I've followed your video to a T for my exhaust install and love your set up.
hsubhani1. Oh sorry the licence plate bracket that's on the swing arm they sell them on Amazon or eBay.
You sound like that foreigner kid off of home movies lol

Al Go. I'll check it tomorrow in the morning. I don't remember. I'll let you know.
Thank you! you can have my phone number give me a call or text me? I am going crazy right now trying to look for the answer lol, but your video is the one that goes in depth the most! thanks again!
Al Go. Just went to the garage and you don't need the bracket.
That is great news, so it will just stay in place?! I wish I knew more, mine came with the slip on already so clearly I have no clue..
Al Go. I have a strap that holds the exhaust in place. The straps bolts at the rear seat.
A lot of body work for just a slip on 🙄
Not too bad, but worth it.
