Otherwise, I 100% agree. Although I'm still feel bad when they look so scared while being washed.

My dog befriended a stray cat.
I’ll be sitting outside with my dog, then a stray walks up, dog tries to sniff it, cat sniffs back, almost 2 seconds later, the cat is laying on top of my old dog, both having a little nap.
Everyday the cat showed up outside and I’d bring out a can of cat food and my dogs food bowl, let the dog out, and the two start eating.
Cat started to take a liking to me too, she always hoped up on my shoulder, then uses whatever hood I wore as a little hammock.
