imagine being a mother, pregnant with their child. “i can feel their heartbeat”
imagine giving birth to a healthy baby girl
imagine after 10 years she’s still fine, healthy and overwhelmed with friends. but soon, she starts complaining about a bump on her temple.
you bring her to the hospital and discover it is a tumor, you drop to your knees, discouraged, eyes full of tears. “mommy whats wrong”
you’re laying next to her in bed 2 years later. specifically, hospital bed. you hear her heartbeat as long and ear ringing jingles. it is your favorite sound in the world. you realize that the jingles starts slowing. you hold her hand, crushed. and soon.....

This happened to me once. Last year, when I was 19, I had really bad health anxiety and so I went to the ER for some minor chest pain. I was having a panic attack in the ER because I thought something was wrong with my heart, but the doctors there were telling me that my heart was fine and it was just anxiety. When they put in an IV without warning, I fainted and my heart flatlined for 16 seconds, then restarted by itself. My Mom was there and the monitor did this! The ER doc rushed me to a different hospital to see cardio immediately. They did an echo and EKG. Besides a minor abnormality on the EKG (LVH voltage criteria), there wasn't ever anything at all wrong with my heart. It was all just an anxiety induced fainting episode worsened by low electrolytes because I had had a stomach bug. I didn't realize that a heart could stop for that long and have it be benign! It can, apparently asystole can be normal if it doesn't last too long. They referred to it as a 16 second pause/ vasovagal syncope on my chart lol. I'm now trying to get my health anxiety under control.

+letsroll I think that something that is so complex as the human being can't be easly explain away with the "just one life notion." The God of the bible has revealed other wise. Paramedics can't bring you back in that case so there's no point in cpr forget life machine, they know when to do it or when to stop, if there's no blood flow and brain cells die then they stop because then death is irreversible, and they won't take you to a hospital.

So I only go home and after a few days I'm healed! It's so magical because of how high the mountain we went through on a motorbike at high speed, well yeah maybe that was my babysitter fault but I forgive her 0w0 And it's been my trauma until now, God save me, I love God!
