I love forest mushrooms. I used to pick them as a kid with my grandparents too and I associate them with autumn and winter dishes. So good and aromatic. Portobello ones are the least tasty IMO, they have nothing on forest mushrooms. Stews, stir-fry, soups, as a filling in pierogi or pastries... Yum!

I love mushrooms, especially in food. I like oysters and chanterelles most. You can bake them and use portobellos as the crust of a mini pizza. Boil them in your big soup pots and slow roasts.
