How do you not spin a shifter kart? Never quit, keep trying and lots of practice. Don't race a shifter kart on a busy track if you can't control it (yet). This for your and other people safety of course.
@ricky vong: Yw :-) For up-shifts you must release very shortly. For downshifts the throttle must also be released (while braking off course otherwise you'll wreck the engine) . I don't bip the throttle, i leave that to the professionals ;-)
Probably not a chance in the normal KZ2 class with 60kg drivers ;-) I dont know how fast they go in Senior class , but you should be able to go at least as "fast" as me since my weight is only 5kg less :P
@@tobiasholst8946 That depends on the track, the kart and how fast you can race :-) But honestly, even if i knew what track it is i wouldn't know. If it's an track where other people have raced before then google will be you best friend ;-)
I would have blown you off the mark back in the ICC days going back to 2002, I was doing 2.9 - 3.2 seconds 0-100 on various tests, our minimum race weight was 170kg and i would weigh in normally after a race at about 172-175 KG
Awesome:D I can only dream of those acceleration times, my race weight is at least 200kg :P (and an older engine which is absolutely not tuned to the max) Also, the track goes a little uphill in the video on those points ;-)

No tuning, just regular maintenance, piston change and full revision to prevent things like ua-cam.com/video/QMlVWzucq2k/v-deo.html Also the striping makes it go at least 5 km/h faster :p
Dream on. With 125cc KZ2 kart that's absolutely impossible. Also, i'm not a good driver, just a hobby few times in a year driver. Also 2: Good drivers are mostly 40+kg less heavy than me. Have a nice day!
i used to do british champs and few bits of euro and with our weight limit 165kg (after race) and some of the fastest engines in the country we could hit 3-3.5secs 0-60mph so yes this is "slow" but real world its really not u cant hold on to the fucking thing and in Belgium in the summer you could get a wheely from it with a small tugg on the wheel so 2secs is bullshit

For sure!
Imagine winning in a drag race with this kart of audi rs6 😂
That would cause a big smile from ear to ear, and a big cry after the 100km/h :P

Thank you for sharing! I just have a question, do you need to release or bip the throttle during upshift or downshift?

1135m according to the Unipro, should be 1107m www.kart-club-kerpen.de/kart-track.html

Is the transmission in this similar to a motorcycle? Never knew shifter karts existed lol
Pretty much, neutral is between the 1st and second gear. The TM Cross engine is also used on shifter karts :-)
