Let your emotions take over as you listen to Assyrian violinist Mariela Shaker, a refugee and a White House honoree who was named "The Champion of Change" by President Barack Obama. This majestic performance is with her husband, world renowned pianist, Riyad Nicholas. Their instrumental sounds are accompanied by the angelic vocals of Leah Rose Fisher (Assyrian Leah Sayad), one of the original members of AAI's Assyrian Women and present voice teacher for AAI’s newly established “Assyrian Children's Choir.”
