Mabye not, Md players often should try and avoid combat to maximise their abilities usage. Weapons like javelins and stasis beams seem like a good pick. Lancer could mabye. Some maps have high ledges you can jump on and stay safe while your loading.

Best combo I found is cheeta with a mini 16. Its small and can peak the gun around obstacles while still being mostly covered and the mines keep people from sneaking up while reloading so you always have a way to defend

And while this whole system is being reworked, the new content appears gradually via Crate Rush Events with Tokens, via Special Offers, Playoffs and Crate Rushes with A-coins.
1:15 the bad news is that it’s locked behind a paywall and you can’t even buy the exact model you want at any time. You have to wait for it to show up I’m the shop, it might not even be the energy capacity you need, and it overpriced.
Miniguns are pretty cool. 17 second reload is quite the amount of time so yeah, implants 100% needed. At least we now know assault is a viable category now in brawls. I do have some questions though: A. Why event crate rush, and why did us f2ps not get any tokens? (my opinion on Minigun) B. Is this the new method of obtaining items the devs replied to me? Just event crate rushes? In all seriousness, us F2Ps have a serious content drought. I am considerably unlucky so I didn't get the EM16 from the event crate rush by forking 650 a-coins, nor did I get Gatecrasher (F2Ps did not get any tokens). Lmao they gave us a free coin for gate crasher you just needed to complete a few missions. Also most of us got EM rifle 16 with A coins so we didn't have to spend a dime if you had saved up your A COINS

A fan of spears (similar to spear racks) - shoots like a canopy, but if there is an enemy within a radius of 30 m, the missiles will abruptly change direction (it’s not difficult to guess where they will fly). Unlike spear stands, they do not require aiming. The fury of the sun (heavy thermo laser) the beam has a large affected area (for example, a radius of 2.5 m). The effect of overheating is applied instantly, and if you shoot at the walls or the floor, they become hot. Upon contact with a hot area, damage is dealt and the overheating debuff is gradually applied
600rpm, 200r/magazine, meaning we got 20s firing non-stop, and only 17s to reload (no implant equipped yet). You equip 2 miniguns, fire 1 of them until it get down to around 100, then fire them both, you'll have nearly unlimited shooting time in the fight.

Team Fortress 2 Heavy using Brickhouse be like: "I am Heavy Weapons Guy... And this is my new robot. It can equip 2 Sashas, it costs 400,000 to fire this weapon for 12 seconds." In all seriousness though, the minigun is best for punishers. Examples: 1. Using the Minigun for punishing a Killshot who made a wrong dash. 2. Using the minigun for punishing a Lancer who is gonna do a Missile Rack Air Strike. 3. Using the minigun for punishing a wrong-timed Backtrack of Redeemer I really want to see Melee Weapons though.
I find the best use for a minigun is to strap it on an onyx mech with the other weapon being some other type. This means that while you wait for either ur rockets or mingun to reload, ur not completely defenseless. Usually I play defense with it, intercepting any enemy flanker wannabes. This allows me to control one part of the map.

Honestly I was reading the comments and thinking about ‘what cool weapon should they add?’ And I came to the conclusion of flamethrowers and literally one second after scrolling I find this comment saying they should add flamethrowers 😂
I think a good weapon combo with the minigun would be the either the stasis beam or thermal lance because the stasis beam makes the enemy slow which means the enemy can’t return to cover quickly the thermal lance in the other hand makes the increase’s the damage of the minigun by 50%!
I can’t really think of much for what the next weapon in this category could be. Unless it’s a simple Minigun variant, there seems no weapon that isn’t already taken. Rifles go under long range, Shotguns under short, and anything explosive will go to the Missile category.

I think any mech can use this weapon. As long as it’s played right… 16 energy capacity mechs at Rank 5 can equip the lightest Miniguns, and a Shadow or something may be able to use them combined with stealth. I’m not sure if this works, but it’s an idea.
While I'm NOT a fan of the 17 second reload time, which is even longer than the Rocket Mortar, it makes sense because you'll be firing at mech for quite a while with a 200 ammo magazine
I use a single minigun with another weapon then which reduces the reload time as the accompanying weapon runs out but reloads before the minigun runs out also you get a continual firing pattern whilst the minigun reloads

Please Nerf the bots in the game especially cheetas and Zephyr bots they're too annoying. Every bot should have an md mech in slot, would make games more playable. Everything else is good. Looking forward to great stuff in future updates 👍👍

I used to be super pumped when new stuff like mech's and weapons came, but they are so hard to get now unless you want to pay money. Mech arena will see this, but they won't respond because they don't want to change it😞
I recommend them on guardians because they have system crash which will give you time to run and hide. Guardians also have high health so it’s a good option
It's great and all but the free to play players have been suffering for a while with the current system. We have to wait months to even get a chance to get access to the other good weapons. Even when we do get access it's supper A-coin expensive. Free players can't get enough A-coins to get new weapons, rank up mechs, rank up weapons, and buy new pilots. I've saved up through months of grinding and not using A-coins to hopefully get something worthwhile. I know as soon as I use some, there will be a newish weapon/mech/pilot that I won't be able to afford and then I will have to grind even more just to repeat the process. I'm tired, burned out, and sick of this. Something needs to change.
I use mine with my onyx because it has a extra gun for while it’s reloading. But I am also going to start using it with aracnos becase of its spider turint.
I feel like these mini guns when kill shot is maxed or I guess nomad, you can put the mini guns on and while they’re reloading and an enemy is approaching you, hit them with the dash while you’re at it! Extra damage!😈
The speed booster from paragon reduces the recoil from the heavy energy weapons that have recoil like miniguns rocket mortars e etc... i tested it using the rocket mortar 12👍
For frontliner, as long as they have good mech to go front and teammates to cover them, this is gonna be a OP loadout for sure. For camper, this is one of the hell of tool for ambushing the enemy. Dont see any much good with it for flanker tho, in my oppinion it doesnt fair very well with scout mech, even if you flanking with attacker or tank, it doesnt look like it will help you alot, but depend of the player someone might use it for flanking, i saw once and just smack them with longarm before they slaugther more of my teammates. The only thing to counter anyone who has this is by moving faster than the shooter, when they shoot minigun at you, dont fight back just retreat and dodge it fast, guided weapon aswell artilary and sniper is a good tool to put them down, seriously when you see them, immidietly take them down because they are so much of a trouble, one is enough to cause a headache but then there is one or two more of them in the match, luckly i never fought agaisnt a team who all of them has minigun equiped, that gonna be a hell for sure.
How I wish they would add a new mode where you face bosses and stuff like that and give you reward for it and put Moy hard to kill bosses and give good reward for it
Put a 6 / 10 (or 8/8) combo of this weapon on a Stalker with Asmodeus, legend mods to reduce reload & dmg, lower ability refresh time, up the ability duration. When you pop the Predator Drive ability, you will mow down most anything in front of it in 2 seconds or less. Pair up with Overdrive user, and you annihilate everything. Just avoid ability debuff users. Remember, with Predator Drive, the more you kill, the more you self-heal. Good luck & Happy hunting!
I like the minigun. Not sure on dmg output vs an arc torrent (those are annoying) and someone equipping two longarm(s) but most of the cons can be fixed by pilot extensions. Not sure on recoil but I'm hoping you don't take wild rampage damage shooting it all crazy like. Still not a bad weapon. One thing to note: this video is using an attacker bot. Preferably I like tanking things up and getting close and personal but damage will vary there.
I love mine, but one of my miniguns (10s) randomly requires reload with barely any shooting. I was hoping the glitch would be dealt with, but it still happens and can screw me in the arena. Is this a known issue?
Although it mostly is for tank mechs wise it can also be used for the smaller mech as stated in the video, with enough strategy, and you know the map well, then you'll be fine what mech your using, overall pretty good new weapon for the Arena.

EM rifles can already 1 shot anything in the game. They are super broken.

I use a single minigun with another weapon then which reduces the reload time as the accompanying weapon runs out but reloads before the minigun runs out also you get a continual firing pattern whilst the minigun reloads

This weapon is really cool and part of its own category I think it should be available to ftp players at least it 8 energy variation

Please Nerf the bots in the game especially cheetas and Zephyr bots they're too annoying. Every bot should have an md mech in slot, would make games more playable.

i have an INSANE loadout of a bastion with minigun 10 and 8 and a redox with minigun 12 and 16
mech arena, this is the best rhing you have ever added.
the only problem I have with this gun is its cost what price will it be at like 90000 A coints or real money because its too op to be easily obtained by anybody

I recommend staying around walls and corners and staring to fire so you can immediately start shooting.

I used to be super pumped when new stuff like mech's and weapons came, but they are so hard to get now unless you want to pay money. Mech arena will see this, but they won't respond because they don't want to change it😞
I recommend them on guardians because they have system crash which will give you time to run and hide. Guardians also have high health so it’s a good option
It's great and all but the free to play players have been suffering for a while with the current system. We have to wait months to even get a chance to get access to the other good weapons. Even when we do get access it's supper A-coin expensive. Free players can't get enough A-coins to get new weapons, rank up mechs, rank up weapons, and buy new pilots.
I've saved up through months of grinding and not using A-coins to hopefully get something worthwhile. I know as soon as I use some, there will be a newish weapon/mech/pilot that I won't be able to afford and then I will have to grind even more just to repeat the process.
I'm tired, burned out, and sick of this. Something needs to change.

I use mine with my onyx because it has a extra gun for while it’s reloading. But I am also going to start using it with aracnos becase of its spider turint.
I love the miniguns on my onyx SO much. Just destroying ENTIRE teams in teamfights with it in a matter of seconds. Outside of teamfights tho...
I feel like these mini guns when kill shot is maxed or I guess nomad, you can put the mini guns on and while they’re reloading and an enemy is approaching you, hit them with the dash while you’re at it! Extra damage!😈

The speed booster from paragon reduces the recoil from the heavy energy weapons that have recoil like miniguns rocket mortars e etc... i tested it using the rocket mortar 12👍

I use mini gun 12 and nade launcher 12. Love this weapons.
For frontliner, as long as they have good mech to go front and teammates to cover them, this is gonna be a OP loadout for sure. For camper, this is one of the hell of tool for ambushing the enemy. Dont see any much good with it for flanker tho, in my oppinion it doesnt fair very well with scout mech, even if you flanking with attacker or tank, it doesnt look like it will help you alot, but depend of the player someone might use it for flanking, i saw once and just smack them with longarm before they slaugther more of my teammates. The only thing to counter anyone who has this is by moving faster than the shooter, when they shoot minigun at you, dont fight back just retreat and dodge it fast, guided weapon aswell artilary and sniper is a good tool to put them down, seriously when you see them, immidietly take them down because they are so much of a trouble, one is enough to cause a headache but then there is one or two more of them in the match, luckly i never fought agaisnt a team who all of them has minigun equiped, that gonna be a hell for sure.
How I wish they would add a new mode where you face bosses and stuff like that and give you reward for it and put Moy hard to kill bosses and give good reward for it
Put a 6 / 10 (or 8/8) combo of this weapon on a Stalker with Asmodeus, legend mods to reduce reload & dmg, lower ability refresh time, up the ability duration. When you pop the Predator Drive ability, you will mow down most anything in front of it in 2 seconds or less. Pair up with Overdrive user, and you annihilate everything. Just avoid ability debuff users. Remember, with Predator Drive, the more you kill, the more you self-heal. Good luck & Happy hunting!

I like the minigun. Not sure on dmg output vs an arc torrent (those are annoying) and someone equipping two longarm(s) but most of the cons can be fixed by pilot extensions. Not sure on recoil but I'm hoping you don't take wild rampage damage shooting it all crazy like.
Still not a bad weapon.
One thing to note: this video is using an attacker bot. Preferably I like tanking things up and getting close and personal but damage will vary there.

I use Gatecrasher with Carbine 12 and Minigun 12. Best combination since Orion with EM Rifles. Both are so OP
Plus imagine if you could have 2 Minigun 16s fully maxed. That’s 630k+ damage in 20 seconds. That is insane.

I love mine, but one of my miniguns (10s) randomly requires reload with barely any shooting. I was hoping the glitch would be dealt with, but it still happens and can screw me in the arena. Is this a known issue?

Although it mostly is for tank mechs wise it can also be used for the smaller mech as stated in the video, with enough strategy, and you know the map well, then you'll be fine what mech your using, overall pretty good new weapon for the Arena.
I use minigun 16 and thermal Lance to boost the damage of the minigun
