I travelled to Bekaa valley to Baalbek and I was surprised by the fact that in that area Christians and Shia were living in some sort of harmony together. The Shia were giving resistance to Isis from Syria with help of the Christian population. This gave me a lot of hope for Lebanon to see that people of different religions do have the capacity to cooperate as brothers and sisters.
I was in Lebanon for 3 years. Its a place where my perspective completely changed. 95% of my friends were Shia, Sunni & Durzi .Me as a Christian, I never felt different from them, they became like a part of my family, and they helped me in the hard days.
