As a BYU fan, please consider the holy war, our gift to the big 12 for welcoming us into their conference. This year's rendition was not completely out of the ordinary as there seems to always be an odd ending and periodic inappropriate comments by either side. It's guaranteed entertainment
Cody is a BYU hater. He hasn't picked them all year. You need to go through the picks from the week before so we can see how good or bad in Cody's case your picks were.
I was thinking the same thing haha. If he likes being wrong each week, feel free to keep betting against BYU. Just messing with you Cody, as a BYU fan, I'm worried about KU pulling off the upset.
I disagree that the Big XII needs Utah to be good in the conference, whatev. The Big XII has brands that have been power conference for much much longer and have represented in NY6 Bowls/CFP.
@@Big12Insiders Adding is fine, needing Utah to be good? Hahahahaha we have 16 schools all need to be good. Adding wasn't the question. Of course it was good to add all four PAC schools. I'd say Colorado was a bigger brand than Utah, so why not say the Big XII needs Colorado to be good in the conference?
@patrickboren2211 if prime leaves, nobody will care about Colorado. That's why. Utah has a built up brand nationally. Right or wrong, if you change their season with BYUs, the league would be taken more seriously. Is it right? Nope. But it would have happened.
@@SteelersAlmightyprime hasn’t said anything to indicate he will leave. He is recruiting at the highest level among big 12 schools and will be premier brand for at least the new few years.

Utah’s brand from the PAC12 is always overstated. They actually brought little value to the Pac12. It took the Utes 4 years in the conference to get a winning record and get bowl eligible. They did win 2 conference championships as a 3 loss team, which didn’t help the PAC12. They won 4 mid-tier bowl games like the Las Vegas Bowl and Foster Farms bowl. But they lost 5 consecutive major bowls when they played a quality P5 opponent, including back to back Rose Bowl appearances. So they did very little to add value or and to the reputation of the PAC12. This is why they’ve struggled with the physicality of the Big12. And ran their mouth more than they ran the Big12, or even the Pac12. Their only big bowl wins and quality successes were while they were in the Mtn West.
I intensely dislike Colorado especially after the awful reception KSU team and fans got there. I know that you, Brien Hanley, are excited thattice the Buffs rejoined the Big 12. I am not. Many of their fans are disrespectful and the team acts as if it were their God given right to win every Saturday. I love BYU: the way KSU was received by them was downright chivalrous, I'm on my knees (figuratively) praying that KU will beat Colorado. The way the Jayhawks have been playing lately, they should. A lot of poetic justice would set it and our Cats would be playing in Arlington given that they win the next three. Even if BYO loses against Kansas and Arizona State, they should still be in given that they should beat Houston. More poetic justice: KSU's loss was a total fluke that will never happen again. It seems like John Smith awoke lazaruslike from the dead, helping his beloved Cougars big time to be a team of destiny. He again intervened last Saturday. Dear Brien, I'm still waiting for you to clearly state that KSU's loss must 100% rest on the shoulders of the coaches. OK, KSU did not play their best. But leading 19 to 10 with 10 minutes to go it was absolutely insane to call for a RPO during a monsoon and deep in your own territory. Just run and punt, run and punt and Houston would never have come up with 14 points. OK. they completed 11 of 11 passes for 130 yards. Big deal: two of the passes accounted for 100 yards and nine for 30.. In Arlington December 7, 2024 Haiku Two wonderful teams Only one can win it all. Let it be our Cats.
KSU only won against Colorado bc most of Colorado’s starters were injured that game. Plus dpis not getting called when KSU was playing dirty. Have a blessed day

We also lost 2 powerful brands. Adding another one like Utah is a must.
