The Joy of Flood on the River Dart loop section - Abridged version!

The River Dart was at a huge level on 6th Feb 2016.
Many turned up to paddle it, not all got on, some got off, this is what it looked like from Newbridge to the Dart Country Park.
An epic run down a classic English whitewater river at exceptional levels. I've run this many times over the last ... hmm, let's call it a few...years - and this was by far the highest level I'd seen.

Love the Dart done it many times in all water, but never seen it that high , we have the next day seen the devastation of 6-foot banks washed out, I find things washout more in high water, and less gives more stoppers, but near the end, a massive standing wave, in the middle flipped us all front over back, can't remember what that drop is called, nice video chaps, miss the dart,
never had to negotiate trees like that only part I rember not as bad was the gungle I think it was called, or im mixing that up with the liffy lol
