Really nice seeing you back on these classics - and good to see they still look tasty next to some of the rivers you have been running in far flung places. And top storytelling intro once again!
We went down to the Futaleufu this past year to take a clinic with Aniol and David was his right hand man. Super strong paddler, always super positive and encouraging, hilarious to just hang out with and swap stories. Dude can catch fish while white water kayaking like it’s his damn job!!! Solid Human 🤙🏽 and INCREDIBLE photographer. Miss ya David
wow freaking insane river and who planted those trees in the middle of river. I bet friends didn't regret coming over. I felt it will be roaring stream but this was way too much I could handle in Gumotex Safari 300 (inflatable with drain holes). thanks for sharing Serious terminal damage, probably was hit by some Range Rover SUV when went via flooded road..
Stoked watching yinz paddle. Having gotten a THRASHING surfing big waves in Cali, I'm guessing he got back endered and turned on his side by a wave, then the full force of the crahsing barrel landed on the side and crushed it!
@@Senders DM'd. Ive never seen a boat crushed by a wave like that. I bet it was a wild ride. Assuming everyone's ok, would love to see the full story. Surfing wipeouts are always gnarly
That pyranha looked like he went surfing sideways into one of the big poles in the sea, not that far from shore. The Dart and Lynn look like a lot of fun at those higher water levels, but that Dart gauge sure dropped like a rock in just a day!
Awesome vid! SW based so Hoping to get the upper soon myself, and the Lyn looks fun too. Crazy to see solid whitewater leading directly to the best surf spot in the UK (on a good day)! I'll guess the ripper got surfed into the jetty or a post?
Good day man I recently saw a video you made on how to transport a kayak on a plane. I recently moved to Siberian Russia from California, I do a lot of fishing out here and I bought an inflatable kayak. Please consider answering if you can! Question: Is it legal to take an inflatable kayak as checked baggage ? I saw in that video you had a large bag on top of your kayak, I know there's tons of information online I just want to know if you've done it or know someone how's transported an inflatable on an airplane. The kayak shouldn't be more than 60 pounds in a bag
@@Senders i dont do instagram, but if i get early access to one of your videos the next one is twice as long away, so i think it's fine as is. just thanks for putting out great content all year round!
Wow those bolts under the logo are nearly all the way back to the backrest. I see an obvious crease, a larger fold, some flattening, a rectangular impression, and two very distinct scratches. Unlike other commenters, I can pretty much guarantee this did not happen on the water because a sponsored Pyranha boater wouldn’t be posting this or smiling because the boater would surely be in the hospital. My best guess is…
That doesn't look remotely like the Dart. Where it enters the sea is the large town of Dartmouth where the river is quarter of a mile wide. This was tiny and certainly not where the Dart meets the sea. So, where is it?
@@Senders you’re welcome as I said at Brens Park Jam teeside - you are an inspiration and you keep making I keep watching (especially our beautiful sometimes brown water)
One of his greatest YT uploads.
RIP Bren.

Thanks Tim! Hope you're having a great season mate!
Brilliant. What a way to arrive at the beach for a surf.

He was stoked to read this comment man!
Looking forward to seeing the Mellte goodness!
Awesome to see you hitting some Devonshire classics!
Beautiful.
That light was just perfect 👌🏼
Looked like an epic day on the water.
Incredible eh?! So beautiful coming round the corner and being hit by the sun!
Looks so sick. Great vid 👍
Home Run and the Triple crown! Doesn't get better! Some times I get home sick!
I almost forgot how good the Uk is, this trip firmly reminded me:)
Wow! That's impressive.
Ufff....this river looks brutal. What a ride 🙌
Jesus man looked like absolute carnage! Awesome footage and paddling 🙌🏼
hey you're a hell of a guy Bren! 1st river is just wonderful
Oh man, serious squeeky bum time watching you head through the trees!
I felt the exact same... :P
So good
We go on the dart all the time on my adventure sport course, love it! :)
Love ocean waves 🔥
Wow, courageous.
I have walked/swan down the loop in summer after a few days rain and that was fun...
Great video! ✌️
Can’t believe I missed you guys I toke days off work I live locally and had to send a lot of exmoor rivers solo 😂
Sheesh! Some weird stuff in there 😮
Chunky! 🏔🌊

So good to see you ripping up the UK, was especially mad to see you in Newbridge car park!!
I reckon someone collided while surfing..!?

Have a great lap on the upper when you go mate! Answers to the boat destruction coming Thursday :)
Done the dart a few weeks back on spear fishing boats it's a heck off a ride
sickkkkkkkkkkkk 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nice! MAybe a map of river locations for those of us Yanks who love the UK.
Hope to see you in Western US videos this Spring. Surf's up in Cali.
Person swam and boat hit one of the lovely boulders that lie in the shallows?
Good guess but no mate!
by the way , I really love watching you guys paddle.
Cheers for watching mate!
I think the damage to the kayak was down to a giant Dover Sole fish! A monster of the sea 🌊
I would guess someone crashed in the pillars while surfing the ocean waves.
Thought of this aswell when I saw those sticky Wood trunks
Yes! Spot on! DM me on Instagram for the early access link!
One of those poles in the surf lol
My guess is against that big all pole in the water! Hopefully came out okay!!

Hello. How much Palm paddle bag size are you use?
Is this 200㎝ or 230㎝?
I use 200 cm mate as that’s the longest blade I use
off course CZ guys were in for action!
Always!!
Hi Bren! Are you in the medium or large ripper?
I switch backwards and forwards between them both, for this trip I'm in the large as I could only bring one kayak!
I'm fairly sure I nearly did exactly that to my boat today on the same river. Did he surf into the deep water marker posts? Or smash into the wall? 🤣
Yes! Spot on! DM me on Instagram for the early access link!
Surfed into the harbour wall?
Good guess not no mate. You'll find out in the next edit!

Took the boat out on the pillars seen in the last clip of you surfing. But was he upside-down at the time?

With all of that wood in the river I'm thinking that boat got pinned in a strainer.
Thankfully not mate, but for sure that was a big risk on the high water day!
@@Senders Get caught in wood on a day like that and it's very likely game over for good!
I'm also going to say slammed into the pillars

No but good guess man!
to destroy the boat - did he nose dive into the bottom?
No mate, you'll find out in there next edit!
Any chances of you coming to join in on Thames valley stakeout while you’re in the uk
Unlikely this trip mate but I would love too another time!
was it broken by a rabid squirrel stealing it for a lap?
boat went over, was cought by a wave on the see and smashed into one of those wooden postes

Ender?
I am guessing he surfed into one of the pillars we saw towards the end.

Quite right mate, this up river we normally start around a place called “Dartmeet”
So where does this trip enter the sea? I ask because it looks great for kayaking.
That's Lynmouth where Bren exits the river into the sea/Bristol channel.
I guess someone smashed in the post while surfing in the oceans
Yes! Spot on! DM me on Instagram for the early access link!
Someone definitely reversed or drove into the boat ?
Haha, thankfully not!
Fell off the roof rack and run over by a land rover discovery 2009 tdi lol
Yeah that tree was sketchy af
I bet the bent kayak flew off the car and got ran over by another car. Either way hope everyone is o.k.
The guy in the blue Palm suit who is not wearing a helmet, highlights the damage caused to a kayak.
Maybe he should have a wee think to himself.
definitely got smashed on the pillars

Alas not, but good guess!
I guess took a swim in the sea, boat filled with water and got smashed against a pillar

someone decided to perform a crucifix and buried their nose, then got dumped on the sea bed....... No wait hats how I broke my arm 30 years ago
