    Number 3 I think is his best of all time. He comes to a fucking DEAD STOP, and tosses some fools, then picks up full speed. That is unbelievable

  • @Enigma71559
    @Enigma71559 7 років тому +93

    The 2009 run against the Browns is his best all-time. That was just ridiculous. The run at #4 against Denver shouldn't be on the list. You could've driven a truck through that hole. And there HAS to be a run on this list from his 296 yard game against the Chargers. The other run that is one of his best is a short TD run against Detroit in 2007. He absolutely juked safety Kenoy Kennedy out of his jock right about the 10 yard-line. Talk about "breaking ankles."

    • @seheadhunter50
      @seheadhunter50 5 років тому

      That doesn't take away from it being a good run? His speed is the reason he got a td. Defenders were out there but they gave up because he flew by them

    Peterson's 2012 week 15 TD run for 82 yards is definitely better than that Denver run, as impressive as it was. The Rams defense basically stuffed him for the 1st quarter and it was at that point and he ran wild for the rest of the game: 212 yards with 8.8 YPC.

    AP is one of the greatest to ever run the ball. He could play in any era & do well. However I must say, in the last 15-20 years, the NFL as a whole, have become poor tacklers! Maybe it's bc they don't allow player's to use their heads to tackle anymore, maybe bc Deion Sanders never liked to tackle anyone & DBs idolized him, maybe bc player's are trying to strip the ball out instead of making the actual tackle, & maybe bc the NFL coaching doesn't teach & emphasize the fundamentals of tackling. Either way, the NFL Today isn't nearly as good at tackling than the old school NFL player's & I see a lot of RBs getting a lot of long break away runs bc of very poor tackling!

    I felt AD's physical style worked for and against him. Obviously, he's run over a lot of defenders, which is good. However, I think that's part of the reason he's fumbled so often. His concentration was on trucking defenders, whereas many backs' first instinct is to secure the football.
