Iino is one of the best additions to a cast after a full season. Even in the manga I was not expecting her to be around as much as she is. And thankfully it is so. She even sounds like I imagined she would when I was reading the manga.
I think she's better looking than Kaguya
i remember i was so worried when they started adding new main stays to the cast. i guess i was a little defensive because the original trio was such a perfect dynamic i thought that besides recurring gag characters new main characters would ruin the flow. so glad i was proven wrong because i love Ishigami, Iino, Hayasaka, and Maki all equally as i love the OG three.

And most importantly dramatic music makes every misunderstanding better

(Unless in a more bizarre situation like this where you should explicitly say no, but Miko has issues with being able to deny people to begin with)

As for the other plotline, it'll be about Ishigami and Iino. I honestly want more jokes on this one, seeing so far it's just misunderstanding and him finding another place to call home.
The side story will be Fujiwara slowly descending into insanity.

When Miko first appeared she looked like a final boss, but actually she looks like a manga protagonist for me.
Miko deserves her own manga series. She's better than most actual protagonists.

Ishigami always sent nameless Valentine's Day cards adressed to Iino in middle school so that she wouldn't be lonely, he was seen doing so every year by her friend with the glasses. This was before Ishigami was humiliated in school.
Similarly, Iino is implied to have romantic feelings towards Ishigami but still chooses to secretly set up a date for him with his crush. Miyuki is the only one who is implied to be aware of her feelings towards Ishigami.
That's why it hits differently after reading the manga.

@@orphen923 Not really. The only reason why Iino has those perverted thoughts is because shes supposed to crack down on them. so she of course will have those thoughts. (And you also have to remember in the anime alone all of the misunderstandings she had to see).
@@mikerotch2066 Nah, in the manga it's made clear she's projecting and VERY repressed. Even when people say innocent things, her mind jumps to the most perverted explanation possible immediately and then doubles down on it.
This series is an absolute treasure...I just hope the pay off won't be dragged out too long.
