Can't believe I'm seeing this for the first time today. It's friggin 2024!
Same but I’m so glad to finally be here!
@@Travenspear8Unreal EP.
I died when Tim was talking about Roger Daltrey constantly visiting Tims booth in the parking lot asking him how the sales of the Entwistle are coming.
Tim knows how how funny business is
A great bit of dialog.
Tim and Eric hold character better than anyone else I have ever seen. It's just incredible.
i thought he was shit and lazy in this
that's the joke.
@@litheviscera8323 look at how much he laughs, when he breaks you can tell he wants to laugh but cant hide it because of the cameras. the point was he was being lazy.
@@thenadrojshow1119 he couldnt hold it when he said he doesnt care for pete townshend's music. he certainly adores the guy
Scott: 'Are you a fan, btw, of The Who?
Tim: 'I was never really a fan of the music..'
LOL how do you say that with a straight face
I’ve watched this north of 50 times (it’s on a playlist I have that I put on at night while winding down and going it bed) and Tim’s ability to commit to a bit it truly unmatched.
When Tim said “He is a very forgiving guy, he’s a great friend. And he said I don’t want you to every do that again. And stear clear of me.”
😂😂😂damn that killed me
That's like the absolute peak of the whole podcast lmao
@@TheGoodChap the peak was "if I see you with those fucking whistles I'm gonna have your head"
"I don't care for you and I don't care for the music you write"
Steer clear of me.
I consider this version of Tim Heidecker to belong in the On Cinema canon.
Dude remember when tim sabotaged sam hydes career?
@@kennethcox6895 yes
for real though
I'm a Daltonhead
@@kennethcox6895 thank god
1. Figure out what to do
2. Get it together
3. Call a friend and ask for money
+Jake James I'm gonna have to do that, probably by tonight
lol hone your talent...number 4? ...5? ...... new age hack advice
So good
i love this and the fact that so many people are so confused by it makes it even more enjoyable.
I keep on coming back for Tim at 55.00 "I'm so old you might as well just put me in a grave and bury me for the rest of time" GOLD
back again for my dose, he does them so dirty in this one.
I love how much fun Scott has doing any of his shows! I think the genuine laughter he has to try to supress makes these shows more fun for me.
you try keeping a straight face with those guests
Scott hates his jobs. Especially in podcasting.
It's been 8 years since you said that. Maybe he didn't hate everyone and everything 8 years ago.
Tim Heidecker is an excellent actor.
That's no joke. He is seriously better than most Oscar winners. Scott Aukerman also does dry humor perfectly.
@@funkingitup1805 They both work really well together, I know some podcasts that won't invite Tim to guest (Doug loves movies) bc they don't know what 'version' of Tim they'll get but Scotty Aux is always great at improving with him
He really is.
yea every role he's he is always convincing
Thanks Louis C.K.
lol when tim got going about his merch table outside the arena i was in stitches
11:40 when scott questions Tim about the mugs he stares into his eyes and gets him to break...ever so slightly. he chuckles then immediately returns to character haha
I'm glad you pointed this out, I didn't catch it. Tim is really good at staying in character.
Oi9
Tim's story had me in tears. He is one the funniest men alive
The way Tim nonchalantly pops that wasabi pea into his mouth at 18:10 just fucking kills me
I could listen to Scott, Tim and Paul riff all day. Three of the funniest people alive.
Such a good episode. It's crazy how funny these guys can be by just sitting around looking at each other and coming up with shit as they go. Only five minutes into this and I'm already giggling ridiculously.
Tim Heidecker and Scott Aukerman gel well together.
That’s why the tv show was produced by Abso-lutely
tim is a god damn genius
For sure
13:55 "Bass cares... that's a play on..." "I don't think there's any play anything." lol
I love the build up to "If I see you with those fucking whistles"
im gonna have your head
He's a very forgiving guy, he said to me "You put me in a very uncomfortable situation. I don't want you to ever do that again.
And steer clear of me."
tim vs scott is just absolute chaos. paul rust and jon daly each play their parts in support of that madness
Tim Hiedecker is a genius. Paul Rust you can tell is super friendly and a funny dude who is open to a lot of ideas. And Bill Cosby Bukowski well, I did find my self laughing sometimes at his ridiculousness, pretty unique guy what else can I say.
"I wish I had that luxury" 🤣🤣🤣
This is so weird up until this episode I would just listen to it, now seeing the actual place shattered how I imagined everything
Tim's on his ball and on his game here in this segment. Really an enjoyable watch. Thanks a hundred for this piece.
These comments are ridiculous.
1) If you hate Scott Auckerman, why are you watching a CBB podcast? It's his show.
2) I love Tim but some of his fans are ridiculous. Tim doesn't hate Scott or Jon - his company produces CBB and regularly works with both of them.
crabapples200 Tim's great in this, maybe that's why Auckerman haters are putting up with him?
I can filter through the bullshit for some Tim Heidecker, the man's a genius.
I'm still in shock they played my plug song! Such an honor. I love these guys.
that's a good song
Paul Rust is so much funnier when you get to see his face! It adds to the comedy for sure! -- Great episode, Heidecker and Daly are my favourites
He reminds me of Pee Wee Herman
@@yugen yes very true.. lots of mugging
55:35, Tim legit loses it hahahaha love it
I'm willing to crowd fund a Three Amigos remake with these 3....the chemistry is legendary
Tim is actually being funny as hell with that train flute at the end there. Genius!
this is my favourite podcast episode of Comedy bang bang!! paul rust, heidecker, and Daly!! awesome.
Y’all are so hilarious. All 3 of you. So talented. Love all the productions. Love, CBB, Tim and Eric’s Awesome Show. GOATED.
Paul Rust is doing a character! I think when you've got three people in a room doing completely different kinds of character comedy, it's easy for some of it to get lost in the mix, but yeah, the 'New No-Nos' guy is a schtick he does
Lol no shit
@@JohnSmith-jz4pk When I wrote this (a full decade ago) there were a lot of Tim and Eric fans saying "wow, Paul Rust really sucks" and I took it upon myself to translate for them
@@Jamesharveycomicswow a decade ago
It did seem like Tim and Jon's styles didn't exactly mesh. Kudos to Rusty! He was able to riff with both of them
Tim needs to do more podcasts.
oreillymartin666 in due time Office Hours commenced brugggh
13:18 Love the boris the spider riff. it's almost spot on!
at the 13:35 time mark,..... I love how Tim pronounces " THE WHO " so randomly loud & strange !.... Tim is awesome
I don't know how Tim can keep from laughing at Cosby-Bukowski. He's a comedic enigma.
I don't think he found it that difficult
+Dave Bryan you mean a guy whose completely unfunny
5 bags of popcorn 2 sodas. and ill throw in alittle miniature box set of the Who's top hits. let the good times roll
I give the other 3 one bag of corn between them and a certificate for the worst idiots I've ever seen
I love how Tim just totally shut down and started writing on notes and shit when Bukowski started.
+Butheadbros2 Because that fuck is a hack and he's never funny on the show. Fucking chupacabra is lame as fuck
+Terminxman I thought that was a Nick Kroll character, no?
+William Cox whatever it is, it's shit
Butheadbros2 it's because he's letting them do their characters and acts. He wasn't very vocal during the new no nos either.
can ya blame him
Tim Heidecker and Jon Daly (Bill Cosby Bukowski) do their own podcast together. Tim Heidecker and Scott Aukerman (the host of this show) have worked together a lot. They all like and respect each other.
I listen to this constantly. It is my opinion this may be the greatest podcast of the modern era. Pure improv gold from Tim at the beginning and raw insanity from Jon Daly. Paul Rust and Scott Aukerman are super funny and complimented the whole thing really great. So many little jokes and moments that it doesn't get old. I just think this episode is the absolute tits.
It's so cute watching these guys try to keep up with Heidecker. Adorable.
1 of the best podcasts in the short but sweet history of podcasting.
i'll admit i totally believed this the first time i watched it. and after i found out it was all an act i felt like a fool, i cant believe i missed it considering who these guys are and what they do. you got me!. anyway watching it now it's pretty hilarious.
If it is an act, not great. Tim is the only one that is funny. My novice interpretation
How are people failing to see this is an improv podcast and that Tim is doing a bit. Tim and Scott are friends.
+Cam Bryan The bitter comments of some of these Tim and Eric fans are intriguing.
Anyone who knows Tim knows he has a pretty short fuse for stuff he doesn't like and isn't at all afraid to be vocal in expressing his displeasure, I've seen enough Tim stuff to know what he doesn't put up with and Bukowski was obviously irritating him. I'm sure when it was over he either just walked out or was probably mad at Aukerman for not screening who they allow on their show and ensuring it's actual comedy. I obviously wasn't there so I don't know, but I'm genuinely afraid of what was said after this. It's like knowing what your dad gets mad at and one of your friends is running his mouth right in front of him and he's not saying anything but you know as soon as your friend leaves you're going to hear all about it.
because he doesnt actually get along with Scott ever, you should watch other videos where theyre together. the bit Tim is doing at the end is "the guy trying too hard to be a comedian character/funny guy" hes actually insulting everyone on the podcast and they're completely unaware of it. i promise you Tim isn't enjoying this, he tried to be funny at the beginning and got completely annoyed halfway though.
TheGoodChap So you don't know who Jon Daly is, then. But please, keep up your odd insight into the mind of Tim. I don't know what to say, but this was one of the most cringy of comments I've seen.
TheGoodChap dude Tim produced the show jon Daly was heavily featured in with nick kroll, the guys are friends...it’s interesting how many Tim and Eric “fans” know so little about his humor if they are not explicitly being told at the start of the show (by virtue of it being a “Tim and Eric joint”) that there is going to be anti humor and/or alt comedy in general
"You a big fan of Paul's?" "No!"
iVenge have ever seen him is other things. he is one of the Best Improv actors around. Tim is a fan of Pauls they have written together. they are friends.
There are so many episodes of CBB I wish were on video
6:04 Wow...that was beautifully in line with Tim's humor, love this!!
I know! I don’t get the Paul hate in the comments…this was almost ten years ago and he was already making fun of the “edgy” podcasting comedians. I think he does cringe so well people think he’s actually that guy.
@@mightywelsh2787 I think, like a lot of Tim's stuff, people without the context of "Tim and Eric" might not catch wind that it's a persona they're watching, not an actual "real life" person lol. The only time I've really seen Tim not be a character is on podcasts that aren't his own lol, and even that isn't a given.
The amount of people here who worship Tim Heidecker yet somehow think that he hates the show is astounding.
I think any sane person would hate being there with those guests..
I pray for Tim Heiderer's financial recovery, god knows he has worked so hard these past few years he could really use the break. P.S. for all of you Who nuts that are CLEARLY out of the whistle loop, $600 for a classic wooden carve bass whistle is NOT overpriced. Tim was being modest when he said that, any bass whistle enthusiast or collector would gladly pay double for a basstle of that level of craftsmanship. Know and respect fine work when you see it, maybe that dedication to quality will carry over to your favorite band's music. Haha, doubt it.
Gee mister you're really funny..
That's what I was sayin! When he told me it was only 600 I was like
Whaaaa?
What are you, some sort of crazy guy?
Pro lvl comedy
i'm very proud that i find Tim Heideckers bullshit stories hilarious. that bill cosby-bukowski guy is a big flop.
As soon as he blew that whistle the second time, I knew I had it, I just, had it.
Every single character is gold. Tim is amazing. Paul operates over people's heads and it's wonderful. BCB/Jon is just insanity and I can't get enough of it.
the part when Bill Cosby-Bukowsi's hat falls off and then the headphone thing slides in front on his eyes and he keeps talking was so funny.
BassCares is really doing great things in the community
Tim Heidecker is going to win an Academy award
I swear, if Tim wasn't famous for being in the entertainment industry, he would make one hell of a salesman. Does not miss a beat. Amazing. Absolutely amazing.
It’s
That Who story had me in stitches!
I COME BACK TO THIS VIDEO TIME AND TIME AGAIN
This has got to make the top ten for the year, so gooooooooooood.
the fact that Tim can't stand bill cosby guy is so freaking great. when he's talking about how it costs him double to make the whistles and bill cosby guy is leaning into his camera and tim just looks at him is such comedy
+Christian Berk I hope they know it's a character, but they never say it is. I don't think Tim fans know how to look at the fourth wall. They identify too much with the shitty attitude that his character presents.
That HAS to be it. Otherwise there's no way to explain what fucking assholes they are.
It's really weird.
8 years later and the bill Cosby character is still unbearable
Jon Daly looks like he's fucked up on something haha, but being that it's Jon Daly he could be completely sober and act like that. Tim's the man, Paul Rust has some funny quips, and Scott is my hero.
I came to write this. He's FUCKED UP on something or he's coming off a bender lol
@@DannyWilliamH he literally says it at one point and you really believe him
Your is the only comment I can find out of a sea of comments. He looks beyond fucked up. He is so obviously intoxicated and its bordering on uncomfortable
for some reason the way Tim says The WHOOO at around 13:37 makes me laugh so much
Here in 2024 still try to get my hands on an Entwhistle. They’ve only gone up in price. Such a rarity.
"it's kinda cool, its kinda cool. It's actually kinda cool" - tim heidecker
Bring back videos for Comedy Bang Bang!
Scott Aukerman, Paul Rust, & my favorite, TIM HEIDECKER ... my brother from another mother, & East Coast !
Tim Heidecker is the funniest comedic actor in the business.
In relation to Cosby-Bukowski.. two's company, three's a crowd.
"Do they have a lot of mugs?"
+t00lnin haha I love that moment. You can hear Tim start to laugh a little bit when Scott asks him that.
Toolnin are my top two bands, great job!
Almost a full year later and how well this has aged. Here's to a year under the belt guys. Cheeirs.
You gotta realize that Tim is the CEO of Abso lutely productions which produces this show. So there is no way they weren't in on this joke.
i love how when his bit was over he changed his oufit
Holy fuck....I'm not sure why I watched this whole episode. Poor Tim...Poor poor Tim... dont worry buddy, it can only get better..
"the price point isn't really feasible for most people"
Tim’s working around The Who isn’t about goals or music friends or passions it’s about marketing.
Jon Daly is just clearly on something he seems to be funny on other stuff i've seen him on
he does a variety of drugs?
Awesome episode, I must say it was odd watching the podcast after listening to the previous 190+, but good stuff! I hope Earwolf decides to release a few more of these in 2015.
I really like how there comedy goes so well together...
Really a lot here, wow.
A lot of gold in this episode.
Third time watching this, just realized that Starbucks cup is a prop for Rust's douchey self important character
one diamond in the comedic rough here... thank heaven for Tim.
I lost it when Tim started blowing the whistle like it was a cigar.
Tim is in The Who now? What a talent.
Bill Cosby Bukowski kills it. So dope I'm nodding.
he suuuuucks
can someone edit this so it's only the parts with tim
"... stear clear . . . if i see u again,... with those FUCKN whistles..."
Been watching tim intervews all week. I think tim finally meet his match
Tim rules
This is so good
Lol how are people fans of Tim & Eric yet don't get CBB
tim and eric are the best trolls hahaha
I just found this! Why do you guys not do more videos! :(
no kidding. they gave up too early.
You know there's a whole TV show on IFC, right?
where???????????????
www.imdb.com/title/tt2176287/ They just reached 100 episodes. All but the latest season is available on Netflix.
Are you living under a rock, sir?
steer clear of me.
tim heidecker is larger than life
Still very much enjoying Tim's The Who story in 2021
