Guys. They took the full version down off their page. Not my fault, my bad. Either way for future songs maybe put the link in the comments too! Thanks for tuning in and much love 🙏
Led Zeppelin 1968-1980. British. Robert Plant - Lead singer. Harmonica. Tambourine. Jimmy Page - Lead Guitar, founder of the band, produced all their albums. John Paul Jones - Bass, Keys, Mandolin, anything else they needed. Music arranger for the band. John Bonham - drums. He passed away September 1980. Band broke up then because without those four band members, they couldn’t be Led Zeppelin. NOTE: Studio is the song. Live they improvised every single time. Never played the same song the same way. That was part of the live experience.
Actually MSG is like the best footage, because most if not all was for their movie, so something went wrong with this footage. Robert Plant is the greatest front man, not only for his vocals, but his stage confidence. I love when he talks to the fans, & jokes about Bonham & Page. Page actually formed the band, thankfully his first choice for lead singer had other obligations. Page had to finish out a few shows from The Yardbirds, & found Plant & his friend Bonham, & got his friend Jones. They played several concerts at the end of (1968), came home & recorded & Page edited etc. all in about 36 hours. The first great album came out In January of (1969), their second which was recorded on the road playing concerts came out in October of (1969). So they rocked the world from, the end of (1969 until September of 1980), when sadly John Bonham passed away. The band knew there was no replacing him, as was the plan if any of them left the band etc.
Your right we did use substances back in the day. But im a lot older now and you dont need them to enjoy pure talent. Stairway to Heaven live from MSG is a masterpiece to be witnessed with the eyes and ears. Robert Plant vocals harmonica tamborine Jimmy Page guitar John Paul Jones Keyboards and Bass John "Bonzo" Bonham Drums RIP Mr Bonham😢❤
You do you. Led Zeppelin fans understand. We were the same way starting in 1969. We couldn’t believe what we were hearing. Studio in 1969 was often live takes. But you do whatever you like - it’s your channel. 😊
Most people react to the official version of this song. The audio is good but the visuals are a compilation of a lot of performances even of other songs like Rock and Roll. Weird to watch as Jimmy is shown playing a lot of different guitars and wearing different things.

Can you try and imagine being 17 years old in 1970 in Manchester UK - hearing for the first time led zep, Pink Floyd, genesis, deep purple and many more. There were no computers, no internet (social media) and so call smartphones - just the landline phone. There was a musical explosion in the UK around this time and I thought it was normal cos I did not know any better. I was heavy metal wearing the obligatory afghan coat and desert boots, and being a teenager I had such feeling and pension for the music - It was a type of religion. I remember the school career officer telling me ‘being stoned and stupid was not a good career option’, I told him ‘ yes, you are correct but it will do for now!’ Something for the weekend sir, try: Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb - pulse concert performance 1994. It has the best guitar solo ever, not just my option - if it makes you emotional and you want to cry that is ok, you are in good company. It also has a light show that is first contact stuff - WARNING Do Not Pause during Gilmour’s solo, Floydians will come and set fire to your channel !! Led Zeppelin - Since I've Been Loving You (Live at Madison Square Garden 1973) [Official Video]. Dazed and Confused (Live at The Royal Albert Hall 1970) [Official Video] Deep Purple - Child In Time - Live (1970).
You really need to review the official video for this song , it's a compilation visually , but the audio is excellent. I feel like you haven't really done this justice with that clip. It's an iconic song. Band members : Jimmy Page on guitar , John Paul Jones on bass and numerous other instruments, John Bonham on drums and Robert Plant on vocals. Led Zeppelin have long been considered the greatest rock band of all time , all brilliant musicians. Remember, auto tune didn't exist then . Please try reviewing this again , you're really missing out. After Whole Lotta Love , try Kashmir , The Immigrant song , When the Levee breaks , Rock n roll , Black Dog , Since I've been loving you , Stairway to Heaven etc etc ...... You lucky guy , so much to discover and enjoy ! One quick word , Whole Lotta Love is a very sexual song , but stop focusing on "back door man " , it's not a reference to anal sex , it's an old bluesy term meaning a lover who sneaks in and out of the back door when the " husband" is away. Good luck on your Zeppelin journey , you're in for a ride ! 😉
This video started at the END of the song…..I’ve never seen that. What you heard at the beginning was actually the END of their “song within a song” ….they did a “boogie” within Whole Lotta Love.
Check their page they took the performance down.. lol not my fault buddy. It's on their own page. Better if people post the UA-cam link to the song they request anyway.
@@Kazilla. I wrote this before I tried to find it myself and discovered it had been removed. I apologize. I had no clue that it was no longer there…..it’s been available for years. A shame.

That sucks you did the chopped up version! You.Need to do the whole version! You missed a lot of awesome parts like Jimmy Pages guitar solo and Thurman effects! And it's Jimmy Page the guitarist Robert plant vocals John Bonham drums John Paul Jones bass and keyboards and Robert plant said back door man could mean both how ever you want to interpreted it!
I am a bit confused. You started the song when it was more than half over? I suspect you fell victim to picking the wrong video on youtube. Ok, "the back door" thing. Yes, it is an old blues phrase meaning your woman's lover sneaks out the backdoor as you come home. Saying that, I was 10 in 1970 and I knew The Greek meaning. LOL. for "backdoor" was even then. Zeppelin was a highly sexual band. To think Robert Plant didn't know the Greek meaning as well would be a stretch. So in my opinion, he meant both meanings.
Yeah they took their whole performance down. This was the only one. People suggested it and I did it but didn't see another version. Also people can put in the comments the link to, to the song.
NONSENSE THIS HAS BEEN CUT DO THE FULL VERSION FULL VERSION DO NOT CUT PAUSE AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE OR YOU RUIN IT THIS IS SACRILEDGE TO CUT THIS RIDICULOUS HORRIBLE TO SPIT ON THIS ART LIKE THIS SHAME
@@Kazilla.I just checked UA-cam. It appears that the full version has been removed. You can hear it audio only but not with video. Hate to say it, but the only full versions I saw were as reactions by other reactors. You should watch one of those. Just for yourself. It’s a great performance.

Now Robert Plant is on tour with Alison Krauss.. like a book turning a page..they did a cute little song together “gone gone gone”..
This brings back memories.

Somehow you have a short version of this performance. Theres a lot of Jimmys solo missing
Some how he started like in the middle of the song, I know something isn’t right.

You just listened to the last 3 minutes or so of this song.
But this is audio only. It appears UA-cam had removed full video
Video isn't there. Thanks for the link, people should do this for future requests. Although thus is only the audio
Ayy
Back door man in the case of this song means exactly what you originally thought. Look at what the songs about and it's about sex.
Wait a moment. ¿ The first parte of the song?
Yeah they took it down :/
Greek he says
😂
Yeah, ‘cause the ancient Greeks were known to practice anal sex. That kind if “Backdoor man” is what he was thinking

You have started in The Middle of The performance for that song. Lost almost everything
You can see other comments as to why. They took the original off their page
