As a German, I didn't really have this derby on my mind when it comes to English football. I'd throw any Premier League ticket into the dustbin to watch one of these 'smaller' derbies as someone who loves the atmosphere of football in the Championship and below. Thank you so much for your this brilliant documentary and congratulations to PAFC for their promotion!
Its definately a derby that isnt very looked upon especailly being so high in the ranking for the fiercest games in England. It was a great atmosphere as you can see. The fans were on it and chanting upto the stadium and even after the game they were both still going at it! Your very welcome, and thank you for watching and commenting lovely words!
Great vid .... everyone thinks its all about so called big club derby's but these matches are everything to the fans .. At least exeter are only 40 miles away from the championship now , thats as close as they will ever get .. Great vid 👌
An amazing documentary mate I absolutely loved this! Was at the Halloween game and was quite frankly one of the games of the season! As a Plymouth fan myself, I can see what the Exeter fans wanted from their perspective at half time, since annoyingly I couldn’t go to this game, but I was watching it in Plymouth at Home Park itself for my video but obviously at the end of the day, this was a HUGE win for us, helping us get promoted too but Exeter to be fair can pat themselves on the chin, it’s been a superb first season back for Exeter in League One but nevertheless, a superb season for the Far South West of Devon & Cornwall as a whole (with the exception of Torquay). Not just the result of course I loved though about this 😏 but the cinematography, storytelling, content, and the ferocity of the derby itself! Absolutely mindblowing mate! Honestly well done man 👏👏👏 I can’t wait for The Championship next season bring it on!!!!! Up The Janners! Up The Argyle! Up The Greens! Up The Pilgrims! Up The Plymouth! 💚
It's been an unbelievalbe season for both teams this season. With being somewhat local to these two clubs it was definately one to tick off on the bucket list and I'm glad you really enjoyed the video and to leave the kind words means so much to me as a young and upcoming creative in the scene!
The 2 places are very different; Exeter is the upmarket county town in East Devon where all the Tourism is and 2nd home-owners live whilst Plymouth is a very large city stuck in the middle of nowhere. Whilst all the people in the rest of Devon are descended from native Britons (just like those from Cornwall, Wales & Cumbria) the people of East Devon and Torbay are mostly descended from Anglo-Saxons making them pure English, so even the populations are very different!
Love the muppets in the corner giving it large,,,,, Mumba had the last laugh...... Good season for city, closest to the championship you have ever been 🤣🤣🤣
Rivalry my ass! To have a rival there needs to be an equality and comparisons so let's be honest, Exeter City isn't a rival in any way whatsoever to Argyle. Torquay United is a rival to Exeter, not Argyle. It's like comparing a fine port to a rough cider, it's just ridiculous!

Great work 👏
Top man, thank you
Love the Devon derby, you should make a video about it next time we play!

The atmosphere is amazing there, fans back at fourth all day long. That’s why I had to document this! - Thank you!

I think we can all agree that this derby is way better when its played at home park, more fans, a complete stadium etc
6 points off the scum and a championship, not a bad old season.
both even games
Very well put together, it’s more a Exeter documentary than a Devon Derby but I enjoyed the watch
Greatjob on the Doc, never realized these two had such a heated rivalry
Exeter fans are obsessed with us like 95% of their chants are about us when we only sing about them in the actual derbies
@@alex-gf7mk Really? Didn't hear you guys singing at either derby this season, not even when you were 3-2 up hahaha
@@TheJoelPugh get some hearing aids
@@TheJoelPughwas booming all game but sure just lie about it
Great videooooo
Quality video well done ❤️🤍
Very well put together, well done 👏
Thank you, James. Very much appreicated!
Good concept although I found the documentary quite biased towards city💚the greens are going up💚
I thought that too.
this is amazing
only 75 subs and this amount of quality? Underrated as fuck
Have been to Exeter to take in a game. On a Sunny evening it is one of the nicest grounds in England.
Were you pissed 😂💚💚💚
Must've not been to many grounds then 😂
The production value is CRAZY for a 25 subscriber channel. It's criminal u don't have more ppl following u
Thank you so much, I appreciate the kind words! ❤ - here’s a link to my website if you would like to watch more: charlieking.media
Class video 👏
Thank you, Jamie!
One word masterpiece
Appreciate the kind words ❤️
14:20 Absolutely love it ahahahaha up the Ennis 💚
nice highlights shown from an unusual angle - but it is not a documentary.
Devon will always be green 💚
The picture early on showing Tony Kellow scoring, with the old 'cowshed' in the background was actually against Torquay, not Plymouth.
Devon is green 💚💚💚 green army!

Amazing vid, you'd think it came from a big production team
Appreciate the kind words, Jonas!
That was a mad day cl
Fiercest rivals voted by people south of Somerset
The fiercest derby in England is undoubtedly Burnley Blackburn.
Funny. 😂😂😂😂 Devon is green n white
One thing both Exeter City and Plymouth Argyle fan can agree on is that we don't give a crap about Torquay United
Invest a bit in captions.
Love the muppets in the corner giving it large,,,,, Mumba had the last laugh...... Good season for city, closest to the championship you have ever been 🤣🤣🤣

Mate if it’s ‘not a rivalry’ then Portsmouth vs Southampton ‘isn’t a rivalry’
This is schoolboy stuff compared to the Bristol derby!.
Fall off the wall humpty dumpty
Terrible. We didn't know which fans spoke.
why is everyone argyle scum in the comments
Because argyle are much bigger than *xeter 💚
What an awful stadium.
Only one contender for the fiercest derby title........Fiddlers v Burnley!!
