No Riverside stand the river just blowing in off the Thames and a beautiful full ground. Beautiful.

fabulous stuff, actual highlights of the game as opposed to the modern way of showing more footage of the crowd, celebs and managers than the footy. Cheers, come on you greens!

..thanks ged, great action; early days of colour; really loved the green strip for Plymouth.
2 weeks earlier they came up to Villa Park 1-1 draw, and their strip was mainly white with a green band, a reversal of what we see here. v.early on, I noticed a faint chant of a pop song, ''I'm a Neanderthal Man'' from the Fulham fans, do not recall anyone else singing it!.
2 years earlier as a boy, 2/68, I came to my 1st ever Villa away game at Fulham, a 1-1 draw.
1000's of Villa fans travelled; amazingly we shared half the home end with the home fans to your left.

Brings back some memories. Nice clear video - and in colour! I remember Pat Dunne, who came to Plymouth from Man Utd. Also Colin Sullivan, a Saltash boy who went on to play for Norwich.

Marvelous footage and so clear great to see these clubs from the third division wearing their very important identity in the club crest on their shirt even Manchester United didn't even wear the club crest on their shirts then only plain shirts strange

I watched all of this, and I realised just why I can't be bothered with football nowadays.
This was how the game SHOULD be played.
    Running. Passing. Tackling. Dribbling.
No foul play. No tugging on shirts. No abusing the ref.
The game today has become ugly.
And we are all the losers.

Prefer this shade of green to our current colour. Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I also think our current green is ugly. Also, kind of like the idea of us wearing white at home, and green on the road.

What an eloquent interview with the Fulham player at the end. This is 1970 and the 3rd division. Compare today with the shit interviews given by current players.

    "FULHAM UNBEATEN...."
Now those are words you don't hear very often.
And I've been suffering their lack of ambition since '66.
    Still waiting.....
