- Now that I've finished the historical scenario, it's on to the hypothetical. Before we get into it I'm showing off all the cutscenes that are different from succeeding the hypothetical objectives. So for example for Wei, I'll be showing Xu Shu being recruited.
In the hypothetical version of Chibi, Dian Wei is here to tear up the battlefield and Guo Jia is around to prevent the fire attack. So the alliance is basically screwed. I freaking love this stage, this is one of my favorite. Thousand Suns is an awesome track and I love that it's been remixed and used for Wei this time around.
Also the CG cutscene at the end is awesome too. I love scenes where the whole crew is lined up, even includes Xu Shu in it this time. I actually really like Xu Shu becoming a Wei member for the hypothetical.
I actually like the hypothetical path more than the historical one for Wei.
Same, the hypothetical for Wei is my favorite, especially the ending.
Hypothetical endings, in this game, always results in a good ending.
Hypothetical route still changed the tide of battle too

I think this is literally the only time in DW8 you get to fight Pang Tong.
This, imo, is the most triumphant moment in all of DW8. By far my favorite stage of the DW8 era.
Historic:
Cao Cao: Hmph. No ambition? Okay then.
Xu Shu: *gets a lowly minister rank and never gives advice and does nothing*
Hypothetical:
Cao Cao: Hmph. No ambition? Okay then.
Xu Shu: ... All I want is to END THIS CHAOS!
Cao Cao: -stops- Join me Xu Shu
Xu Shu: -becomes one of Cao Cao's best advisers-
I wonder what would happen to his mom in the Hypothetical route?
I guess his mother gets to stay in Xuchang peacefully and she gets a nice pension from Cao Cao

You probably already know this, but even just doing a few of the hypothetical conditions can change stuff in the route. For example, saving Guo Jia will allow him to be playable in the battle right after the one where he’s supposed to die, and saving Dian Wei will allow him to be playable in Guandu. Both appear in Chibi even if the other conditions weren’t fulfilled, but Guo Jia won’t advise you to avoid the fire attack if all conditions aren’t met.
Cao Cao is basically the Luffy of making everyone join his crew
Here Cai Mao is an officer but in Jin story mode, he’s the emperor 🤣

To be very frank I like Wei’s hypothetical ending because it is more realistic than that of either Shu or Wu
lmao 15:07 it's hilarious seeing Xu Zhu's musou attack on the enemy in 3rd person. 😆
Xu Zhu used Body slam on Jiang Yong! It wasn't very effective..

Yep. Every character has unique musou. There some funny,crazy,rampage,and more
I love this model of Cao Cao. DW9 Cao Cao look ugly as hell.

Wei's hypothetical route is the most plausible of the four. The others aren't very realistic.
Jin kinda makes sense too. More or less goes the same as in history, jsut faster cuz less defections/deaths.
@@xShinigamiRyukuux I wish Koei would add Jin's historical conquest of Wu under Sima Yan. Maybe they will in DW10?

Hopefully he'll show off Cao Pi during the Uprising at Xuchang stage. I feel like that's the stage when he shines the brightest in the hypothetical route, too.

Yes. Absolutely,xtreme legends are same but added characters. Likewise DW7XL,Guo Jia,Pang De,Wang Yi are added. Same as DW8XL,Zhu Ran also added too
Tegar Bayu I only have dw 8 extreme legends completed addition for the ps4, but I don’t have the full stages.
Are you play story mode in this case?

@@yongkysudirdja7587 yes it happen in history..at first yu jin the one that request to connect all the ship with chain because he lead the calvary unit so its easier for them to move and cao cao just agree with him.. After the incident at chibi when zhou yu death and everyone know him because of chain strategy.. pang tong the one that went to wu and claim that zhou yu just copy his strategy..he the one plant for it but zhou yu use ploy againts both cao cao and yu jin..zhou yu know that they gonna connect the ship..sorry for my bad english..so zhou yu famous because of chain strategy but pang tong the one that create it
@@Kipark52 the part that pang tong advised cao cao just on DW series but not on history..pang tong didn't take part in battle of chibi at all..he just created the chain strategy and zhou yu use it..thats it
