- This is the Shu version of the final showdown with Wei. It's on the same map as the Wu one so it looks similar but it does feel pretty different. The four characters you can be go one of two ways on their way to Cao Cao, with Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang taking the more direct approach while Zhao Yun is on Liu Shan babysitting duty, except it's been like 20 years and the baby isn't a baby anymore.
It's a pretty good finish for Shu, better than Wu at any rate. I like Cao Cao in pretty much every ending he's in lol. For Shu he even smiles at Liu Bei. He was a lot more accepting of Liu Bei's ideals than Wu's, even if Wu's were more close to his own.
Next up is Jin.

I like how Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei are just staring at a wall.
I guess Cao Cao takes his loss here better than he does his defeat at Sun Quan’s hand is because, if he’s going to lose, I guess he’d rather it be against someone who opposes him ideologically, given some sense of meaning to their conflict.
Agreed, I don't see how Wu or the Sun family's ideology matches up with either Liu Bei or Cao Cao's ideologies.
They were just there to claim Jianye and preserve it.

To me, it seemed that Cao Cao knew that his ambition would just get in the way of whatever Wu was planning, so he decided to go down fighting for he knew that was the only way.
Cao Cao really show respected to Liu Bei,even his last breath. Liu Bei will never forget his last words

Liu Bei's musou(thunder fang or whatever it's called) is actualy a rework of his musou at DW6
I just called it "Spinning Virtue" because he spinning twin sword himselves and releasing shockwave for medium area. Same like Cao Cao at DW6,when you has infinity renbu and do last charge attack(5th charge attack),he releasing shockwave with same area as Liu Bei.

The ending kinda remind me the manga call Tenchi wo Karau where Liu Bei defeat Wei and become the emperor of China

Yep. That happens with all the story mode characters, and with the addition of XL it now happens in Free Mode with every character.
I see. So that means they can't have two same officers in a stage, unlike in the original DW8 where there's two of them.
Cao cao's death is sad nevertheless.

Who would of thought it keeping Zhang Jiao and the yellow turbans, Pang Tong, Xu Shu and allied with Meng Huo would save not only Lui Bei life keep the alliance with Wu Alive but save his brothers from being killed not only that keeping Xu Shu alive with Pang tong put less Stress on Zhuge Liang and keep him from dieing

Hahaha, if I directly pronounce Cai Yuanji into Chinese, it actually translates into "Vegetable Garden Chicken"

I think Zhuge Liang & Liu Shan as playable characters were bad decisions. Guan Yu & Zhang Fei deserved that
I can get Zhuge Liang being there, since it is his and Liu Bei who brought a combined vision for creating Shu, but fuck Liu Shan.
i always think liu bei is bad at nurturing his children to become a good leader. Look how Cao Pi contrast to Liu Shan.
Playable characters in this chapter: zhuge liang,liu bei,liu shan(or whatever his name is i forgot), and zhao yun
I can imagine about this scene where the picture highlights all the SHU for the victory against the Wei kingdom, suddenly cracks appear in the picture it turns out it was just a dream controlled by Orochi, this could be good for continuing the Orochi Warrior series instead of making them meet again in the previous series it was very pushy

What if Liu Bei restores the Han Dynasty?
That was his goal from the start. If this cutscene had actually happen in actual history. i’m pretty confident that Liu Bei would have declared himself Emperor of a new Han, just like how Liu Xiu(Emperor Guangwu) did after overthrowing Wang Mang. Wang Mang was the one who usurped the Han by declaring himself emperor of the Xin dynasty. Thus why, there’s two era of the Han dynasty. Western Han and Eastern Han.

I believe if Liu Bei has the same amount of resources as Cao Cao or at least 2/3 Cao Cao resources he can unify China.Liu Bei can even build a faction that become 1 of 3 great faction from nothing.Liu Bei doesnt lack any Talented Warrior and Strategist,He outmatched Wei and Wu.Such as Guan Yu who are called the God Of War in this Era,Zhang Fei a man who equal a thousand man,Ma Chao who can unify Qiangs Tribes,Zhao Yun who excels at Bodyguarding someone(He fight on par with Xu Chu) and even good at strategy(search empty fort strategy),Huang Zhong who outmatched Xiahou Yuan Archery,Even Zhuge Liang and Pang Tong too who give a great Foundation to Shu at Yi and Jing province .Too bad Wei is the one who destined to conquered on this era,Abundant resources and population
@@georges9694 Wei is the best. Wei has plenty of strategy. Shu is only lucky to have Pang Tong and Zhuge Liang and even then that is how far they could go

@@alis-ry3pf Nah. Liu Shan, Pang Tong, and Fa Zheng are literally carrying the rest of the Shu roster.
Guan Yu should have been a playable character on this scenario. A much more relevent and meaningful opposition opposition to Wei than Lui Shan.
