I totally don't need to know this, and I really appreciate all of the asks for people to come share their stories or to just send an email. I am curious, did UD compensate anybody who shared their story with them?
Nice presentation! Thank you. Commenting on the beginning of Joshua’s part, I was wondering if much of his presentation could have reflected more of the racial discrimination of the time and how that experience tracked into the present. Could anti-“urban” or anti-“density” policies today like the construction of the highway, redlining, etc. could just as easily be called “anti-black” policies? How does an underlining motivation that is inherently racist impact how we ought to move forward given the negative impacts of these policies? Full-disclosure, I haven’t finished the presentation yet, but wanted to comment before I forgot. Thanks!
