Suspicious activity in Lake Cowichan

Lake Cowichan -- There are fears an arsonist is at work in Lake Cowichan.
A home on Greendale Road was filled with flames Tuesday night, the RCMP say the fire is being treated as suspicious.
It's the second one in less than a month on the same property. In early August, a fire destroyed the workshop and damaged two homes on the land.
The fires remain under investigation and suspicious. Police won't give away many details but say there are people of interest. The RCMP can't confirm if the property is a target but say the events are unusual.
The home owner says he has tried to help people in the community, owning up to the mistake of making bad decisions and maybe renting to the wrong people in the past. The owner has plans of rebuilding his property, but says the fires are a mystery.
RCMP are reminding the public, that if you witness any suspicious activity to immediately call 911.
