How about “who gives a sh!t”? “Merry Christmas” is just a general term for “I hope you have a good time in this festive season”, you don’t need to celebrate Christmas to be allowed to feel merry during the time surrounding it. If you’re actually somebody who is unironically bothered by this, you live an extremely sheltered and well-off lifestyle, because there are so many bigger issues in society that need addressing than who celebrates what holiday and who doesn’t.
If I say Merry Christmas, I’d gladly accept it if someone says Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanza or Bah Humbug to me in return.

@ as far as I know, the fake part comes from most 4chan stories being fake, and the gay part comes from people posting things on 4chan like:

>gayest thing you ever heard
>I’m still straight right?
Thus, the tendencies of calling certain stories fake and calling certain stories gay fused into the adage “fake and gay” with people eventually adding explanations to each part.
