Please make a GRC pathway for us non IT guys transitioning to Cybersecurity! It would be awesome to see it! I have done my security + but struggling to get into the technical soc roles
I was about 90% done with my security+ course and study material, then I just dropped it, I do remote help desk now but definitely want to learn more and make more money so im picking it up again
I haven't really found anything in IT that requires zero experience. What should I be looking for? I'm not overly concerned with the pay, just a starting point.
You have to know networking, encryption protocols, tools and at least one current programming language like python, ruby, django, etc. I didnt take CEH and i didnt pass the cloud security exam. They still wanted me but i at least had security+.

I love the information! Thank you so much . I have a question, I’m interested in tech and investigation are there roles that include both?

5+ years in IT to even being considered for something that's not even cyber security related is so wild to me
