Cut to some time in the future, Mouse seems to have recovered, but Bubi is still nowhere to be seen. Mouse(aided by her... clones? Spirit doppelgangers? Illusions?) is attacked by a human wearing a mask that seems purposefully crafted to mimic Bubi's horns. Mouse calls off the... Let's just call them Mouses. She calls them off, presumably because she believes this human might be Bubi. On closer inspection, he is revealed to be an imposter, so she kills him. Cut to the inside of the shack, and it seems like the mob may have been intentionally sending folks in the hopes that one of them would look enough lik Bubi to catch her offguard. There are piles of helmets, each more and more reminiscent of his face and horns. And then it ends with the real Bubi walking up to the door, as his heart(core? DEMONCORE???) starts glowing. Did I get that right? Is there anything I missed?
You're pretty much spot on. The only detail I'd add is that Mouse is forced to accept that the human isn't Bubi because there's no reaction from his core.
The way her eyes are searching for a reason to believe that she wasn't mistaken with that villager and then the disappointed and defeated look as she walks away... That's the kind of stuff that pulls my heart strings man...
ok but can we talk about how Mouse didn’t even budge when the door handle turned at the end as well as the beacon reacting, hinting that Bubi’s still alive like bro 😭😭
@@morganf.1562 The villagers were sending fake Bubis to decieve Ironmouse (most likely to try and kill her) but since the purple ball didn't light up, she knew it wasn't really Bubi and hence killed them and hung the helmets in the house. We can see there's multiple helmets so this wasn't the villagers' first attempt to decieve/kill mousy with fake Bubis. So in the end, the real Bubi comes up and the purple ball lights up. Hope that clears it up!

I think she was injured and running away. Bubi sent her to forest to recuperate. Mob kept sending fake Bubis to lure her. Possible that her hideout was also enchanted that only one the ones with the masks could go near. Idunno haha. Still cool tho.
