In terms of image quality, is the RB 67 better than Mamiya Universal Press/ Polaroid 600se (better lens)? and is it possible to make a back for RB 67 to shoot Fuji Wide Films? Thx
I think they are all brilliant lenses. I think the big difference is that the 600se/ mamiya universal press are designed for large polaroid film with no cropping. They both have their benefits. The rb-67 is an slr, which makes framing a breeze! I hope to eventually add fuji wide to more cameras, but for now I just have it for the Mamiya Universal Press, the Polaroid 600se, and as a conversion kit for the Polaroid 110 type cameras.
Saw your ebay page and came across this item: “Lo-Fi NEW INSTAX SQUARE instant back for the Mamiya RB-67 ,uses aaa batteries,” is this something you recently designed? I have the mamiya rb67 and it has the viewfinder that you place your eye up to, like a traditional camera. As i understand this new instax square back will allow me to use it without any viewfinder changes. Aside from film and batteries, is there anything else to purchase to make the new instax square back operational with the rb67?
With my instax square back for rb-67, there is nothing else you need to buy, and since it shoots horizontally, you can use all of your viewfinders, including the prism viewfinder! Thanks!
Yes, the words are backwards! Since lots of people share their polaroids via internet, it is easy for you to reverse it back with software.I also make a vertical instax square, and instax does not reverse.
@@edahlable Sorry, I meant horizontal. If you want me to make a vertical one, I would have to have an additional 2 weeks for assembly. Just tell me so I can make you a special listing. Here is the horizontal one: www.ebay.com/itm/133950058722

@@ThBreadMan If you got an rb-67 in working condition, it will probably last your lifetime. The Graflex series b, however, may need more repairs during that same period due to the more "organic" materials, like wood, glue, and older fabric bellows. Hi! Found this after struggled with an impulse-purchase Polaroid peel-apart back; hella cool stuff going on. Wanted to ask if there's any way this is available on the RZ67 or if there's a way it can be printed for use on it without having the nigh-unattainable G Adapter? Either way, this has reignited my dream/passion for an MF instant camera, hahaha
This can be mounted without any adapter to the rb-67! As for the rz-67, an instax square one in vertical only( can use it with the waist level or chimney finder, but not the prism). I eventually hope to make an rz-67 to I type, but have not yet.
