If your gears don't turn, and bot because lack of power, I suggest you take a look at the big grey/black gear (the final one they added) and trim the plastic from the side. My gears were not turning once I assembled the body, and realized it's a really tight fit. Once I trimmed the big gear side, the excess plastic bits that held the piece to the other pieces frame, it started working. I used simple wire cutters to trim the excess.

cannot get the rod (P8) in far enough where it goes. it sticks out too far which makes B6 up too high. please help.

This is really a great video. Helped in assembling the body with ease
that works but when i apply the wheels after that, like the black ones you attach to the sides of the grey on the outside, they wont move.

My p8 shaft doesn't go in. In your example it is already in. Mine isnt fitting in final module cuz too long

When I put my blue part on which side the gears are visible it does not put
I followed all of the directions but the red gear keeps moving so it does not get spun by the motor and I don’t know how to fix it

This is late but For the motor with connectors, (The thing with a red wire and a black wire with rings at the end) has that plastic cover thing to put on its end right? For me, the hole is too small so its not going in. i tried making the hole bigger with a needle but that didnt work. Can anyone help?

Make sure you grind all the burs off the moving parts. They will stop the gears

If you press the three dots at the top right and then press playback speed you can set the vid in slow motion by yourself

Do you have to have the stupid little white thingy on the wire because I lost mine- It’s impossible. Tbh but I was using the wire cutters because it just flung it I’m disappointed it’s. Hard.

Hey ther.im trying to do one for my kid as well..the c4 part is on the Grey frame C, you'll see there is one no 4.. hope you can find it. I found it hard to read the manual..it's too complicated...
If yours does not work it’s because the grey piece connecting ends are hitting the white block
I did what u did but the wheels wont turn. I tried adjusting the head so it could be exposed to the sunlight more. It kinda worked but that thing with the 2 wires was spinning fast and the other gears wouldn't spin. Please help
Hi, what do you mean by that thing with cables, maybe the engine? If only the motor is turning fast and everything else is not moving then you have to correct the motor a little. Try to move the motor a bit so that the gear of the motor meshes better with the gear wheels of the gearbox.

Hi, Did you clean the gear cut out cut all plastic remains on the teeth? Is the opening large enough in the White Gearbox ?
Use a nail filer to file off the plastic crumbs on the edges and it will work.
Sink the shaft all the way in then the white stopper pressed on tight. Mine was slipping till i did that. Its gonna take a week just shaving flash.

Ours you had to really jam the gray piece #b6 to get it out if the way of the gears!
I ended up taking the gray piece b6 off. It would not let the gears spin even after I jammed it on. Gave me a fit. What is the gray b6 part supposed to do anyways?

Gears only turned a little and then locked up - so I had to trim off little pieces of plastic on the side of the big black gear teeth that didn't belong and that fixed the issue

Hi, you have to put the gear on the table and press the motor from top to bottom with the shaft into the gear, maybe lubricate a bit

Video goes from start to finish and is very good. However it does not show gear(P3) being installed on motor
shaft. The gear hole is too small to push onto motor shaft. I was thinking of hot water to expand hole
to get gear onto the shaft. Please help. I do not to break the gear or motor.
Hi, Thank you for your comment. I would carefully slide the small gear onto the motor shaft and place a match or something similar underneath where the cables come out on the motor, perhaps to prevent cable breakage. You can try warm water, but I would rather take a drop of oil so that it slips better.
@@Truscharu I got the gear onto the motor by using more strength. Assembled and the motor works. Tested ok with a battery. Thanks for your help

I think you have fixed tight.The gears should move freely when rotated by hand. And it's work only on sunlight or 100w lamp

I followed every step you did, but my motor spins for a while and stops. I have checked everything i can but it does not spin for more than 2 seconds. Any suggestion on how to fix this? ( I also have lubricated it with oil )

Mine was doing the same. The Grey colored gear had a tiny bit of plastic sticking out and created a "stop" on the gear, trimmed it right down and works perfect now

Hi, the housing warps because it is made of plastic or the gears have no lateral play and jam Maybe just smear something minimal

Mine only moves for a bit. After that though, it stops moving.
Jimbo Bombimbo the black pice on the top catches on the actual body part

You must take out the cables and leave it in the sun for 30 minutes and put the cables in

Hi, most of the time it gets stuck mechanically when everything is too tightly assembled. Take everything apart again and assemble it with a lot of air and play and move it by hand - everything has to run very easily.

wait my problem fixed i had a broken motor
when it was working, i could easily move the gears woth finger. after 4 or 5 spins, it requires a little force
