nice vidéo ! yes i have been to china ! it is one of my favourite country ! happy to discover your channel, so we can discover more and share experiences !
@@SvenywhereI have been to many places in China would be too long to say... I don't count anymore how many times i have been there. That s a long story i can sum up I had the chance to meet a chinese lady in south india a long time ago, we were both backpacking. Since this day, few years ago now, we created a family,..., our second baby was born in Nigeria where I actually film with cam and drone.
West Lake Park is absolutely gorgeous, I bet we could take wonderful pictures there! And I just saw the yummy skewers: they look like Japanese Yakitori!
Glad to hear that about Fuzhou West Lake. I used to live on West Lake in Hangzhou and it is just a crowded polluted mess. Whenever people tell me I should visit there as part of a Chinese trip, I always question what it is they value about traveling.
I covered Hangzhou on my channel as well. Hengdian World Studios was a great visit as well which you could watch back. Not sure if I ever had sand worm, I will ask my girlfriend if I had it before.
It's crazy to think about the amount of Chinese cities with much much larger pops than the US. 7.66M people live in a city I've never heard of??? That's larger than all but 1 US city. And you broke it down like a champ. Thanks man. Safe travels.
I spent almost a year living and working in China. I actually had heard of this place but sadly never visited. Looks a lovely place to visit. What did you think of chinese street food?
Isn't the first time for me in China of Asia either. I have studied in Taipei for half a year and I just love the street food / night markets in East Asia in general, not only China!
The park is nice. Unfortunately I didn't cover the forest area, but I will go back so I would be able to show you that together with some other night markets.
Now I think that the 4 main things to do in Fuzhou is getting familliar with the street food, it looks delicious! I was hoping to see the old Starbucks, so maybe you can film it next time :)
@@Svenywhere we were born there and I had been living there for 33 years before my twins were 6 years old. but we went back almost every summer vacation. The city becomes more and more beautiful.
Then I would recommend Xiamen. It is more suitable for tourists and has a bit more to explore as well. Besides that it has nice areas next to the sea to hangout which gives you more of holiday vibe. You could always make a day trip to Fuzhou from there.
As a native Chinese from Fuzhou, I have been curious for years of why the government sets Fuzhou as the capital city of the Fujian province instead of Xiamen. Xiamen is just way better than Fuzhou. The level of its hospitality and tourism to Fuzhou is incompatible.
@@stevenchen5460 I am not into Chinese politics. But business wise and decision making I can imagine Fuzhou is more important in an economical perspective. However, for tourists Xiamen is the more interesting place.
xiamen is designed for tuorists. But I dont agree that xiamen has more to exploit than fuzhou. The truth is the opposite. Just sanfangqixia alone, you should not go in the night, the area is really big,you should go to the lanes to visit those old houses and have a cup of tea or coffee there. There are many other places in fuzhou for tuorists with rich culture. Different from xiamen, the tuorists spot are gathered togather and easy to find, fuzhou‘s tuorist’s spot are more scattered. But for someone, who has time to stay in fuzhou for more time, you will know it is more worth exploiting than xiamen. If you just suggest someone to spend 3 days in xiamen and 1day in fuzhou, you definitely has difficulty to find fuzhou is a tourist friendly city. You can try to spend 3 days in xiamen and 3 days in fuzhou, you will surely find that, xiamen is getting you bored but you dont have enough time for fuzhou!
@@laughingstarable totally agree with that statement. For a longer term visit and slow travelers who really want to explore places I agree that Fuzhou is the better of the two. However for short and quick tourist visits and in terms of tourist friendliness how easy it is to explore, Xiamen is the better choice. I still want to visit the Xiapu farms, have you been there?
@@Svenywhere Sorry, I live in Australia. But my parents told me everything goes well in Fuzhou. Also, there is only one case in the whole Fuzhou. Fuzhou is pretty safe.
@@alisonc8820 I know. We were planning to go there end of January / beginning of February. But my girlfriend's parents recommended us not to go, because at that time all the public places were closed and they were only allowed to go out once in a couple of days.

Good morning, Svenywhere!! 😃 This is one of my favorite videos of Fuzhou, especially since this is my hometown. Can I use a clip of this video for my university project? I will give credit (including a link, channel name, and what section of the video I used) in my project. Thank you sooo much for creating amazing content. You can email me at kpl.maleficent@gmail.com if you would like to reach out to me.
I meet a girl from Fuzhou and to be honest she doesn’t have any manners or class for a person who was in college for 5 years plus she’s living a fantasy life and drink to much
I hope this doesn't change your perception about everyone in Fuzhou. Like you can meet that type of people everywhere in the world. This is related how her parents raised her and the environment she grew up. I know loads of great people in Fuzhou and the type of people you mentioned you have them everywhere in the world.
I agree that you wouldn't recommend this as a first choice to tourists. But I don't agree that this city is boring. It has interesting areas and the national forest park is a nice area. You can make nice trips to Wuyishan from here for example.

Yes right before there was high speed rail. The maglev was already in operation though.
