Hey tom, the mavic pro does not go up or down in elevation when you set it to follow you, so say u go up a hill the mavic will follow you but not go up to avoid the ground. Hopes this helps cheers.

for the drone you either need a faster sd card or you need to do a better job compressing the videos in post so that youtube's compression doesn't mess everything up

Tom just to let you know, your drone must be within line of sight to fly legally. Also If fitted with a camera, like the Mavic, it must be flown at least 50m away from a person, vehicle, building etc.

You need to use the altitude track function. That way it follows the land and stays at a certain height. Msg me if you need tips. I do this all day

If you're in an empty car park or some open area you should try the drone's tracking feature with your car and try and drive it in 3rd person only looking at the drone's POV

the DJI maverick series have a problem with height they wont level them self with the ground below them or obstetrical above it thats why it crashed into the ground

its bad quality because its recorded on the phone and not internaly on the drone... it suffers from the real time compression the drone has to do to the video to transmit it to the phone
