There's an interesting spot to visit in left tower of the Zindan gate, medieval exhibition and interactive workshops focused on medieval history of Serbia, sword fighting, archery, board games and amazing replicas of medieval armors and attires, weapons and everyday things. Enjoy!
"Tito's bunker" is hidden in the artificial hill (flower beds were originally there) just off the Victor statue plateau, or some 15 metres from the stairs at the Roman well (which is well worth visiting indeed). The bunker was made during the USSR - Yugoslavia crisis in 1948 as part of air raids defense system. It had an autonomous source of electricity and was self-sustainable for days or even weeks.
Not really accurate. Fortress you showed at the beginning is more Austrian built on Roman and medieval foundation. Victor monument is installed after WWI as a memento on Serbian victory . It's nakedness was unacceptable in twenties , communists vere more like showing an anatomy. Other than that... nice !
I'm glad you've discovered the churches, my favorite 'secret' place, only someone who explores and loves this city can find it.
When Alfred Hitchcock came to Belgrade he visited Kalemegdan and the Roman well. It was there he got the idea for his movie "Vertigo".
🤯 I had no idea, thanks!
I love your videos, enjoy in Belgrade
Glad you enjoy them! And thanks for the positive feedback, we're definitely loving it here!
You make my day 🤝👏
That's so kind, thank you! And I'm glad you like the videos!

Thanks! I think we've wandered in there before. You also see it below when crossing the bridge entering the fortress, yeah?
@ExpatsInTheMaking Yup, that's the thing!

Interesting thanks! I'll have to see if I can edit and add some corrections or something. I haven't found a way to do it after publishing yet...
